I can only see this applying to full fireteams only tbh For the individual player or for the small 2/3 man fireteam it is not only your opponent being matched randomly but your teammates too. One could be constantly matched with low skilled players against teams equal to his own skill or higher. That will cause a huge problem of inconsistency which will actually hurt the Crucible in my opinion.
