Play more passively, be behind your team. No need to be in the action if you can't handle it. Depends on what you are playing as though. Generally get a scout and pick at targets supporting the players in the thick of it. Killing is fine but be aware people do catch on. So have a shotgun or something for when they do. Let them come to you. Not saying you'll win, but that should help.
