I did the exact same thing.
I had 1-2 games of playing opponents with no thumbs. Dropping 30+ kills games with 5.0 or so KD.
NEXT MINUTE
I'm playing the same guys I play on my main account. But with blue and green gear vs fully meta 335 top tier players.
I actually feel sorry for any new player who is half decent at PvP.

Yes, my point/experience exactly! They say SBMM is to help "lower skilled" and new players, but i tell you that any new player that has some skill, will be very fast at a BIG disadvantage with this system. And that is not good for new players at all.
