We are actively investigating player reports regarding recent TAPIR Errors received by players on all platforms. We have identified the cause of this issue and are working diligently to reach a resolution.
This thread will be updated with new information as it becomes available. If you have encountered this issue, please Comment in this thread with your PSN ID/ Xbox Gamertag, as well as exactly which console you have received this error on.
Thank you for your patience as we pursue a resolution to this issue.

i cant get into my destiny. before i get to the character selection screen i begin to contact destiny servers and get chicken error code PSN RicheyG28

1 ReplyAfter the patch went live I logged in with no problems but today I keep getting code error chicken on every attempt. Sometimes it will say contacting destiny servers then go to the chicken error or straight to error code chicken screen Ps3 Osmosis_1225

3 RepliesI am able to play 15 or 30 min then I get disconnected from the server everytime. With a different error each time chichen weasel something Berry . Seems like it still isn't fixed. I have been playing this game a long time and never had this problem. Poetic Pirate65 xbox 360

System: Xbox one s Gamer tag: lilhuff bch I am no longer having issues with error code tapir. I successfully transferred character from Xbox 360 to Xbox one s and am able to play.

Ark Boc Holas. Xbox one (was 360) phew. I had tapir, chicken, turtle, marionberry and canary. All sorted now. I'm on and all characters, gear and progress has been transferred. Yeah. I even got some nice packages for each of my characters including exotics. Now I can play and look forward to rise of iron.

Hi bungie, I was able to transfer destiny ps3 data to my destiny ps4, suddenly I was kick out from server, when I tried to login I got chicken error, when I tried to play destiny in my ps3 i got weasel error. Yesterday I was tapir error. my PSN ID: waldemaru Please advice as soon possible thank you.

The errors stop showing up in my account finally get imported thank you bungee for supporting me and putting head patch online yesterday I am glad that I can play Destiny again and be able to enjoy myself when the rise of iron comes out thank you again

XB1 Necta1 Purchased the collection almost a week ago and it's not been resolved, I understand you need to bring out the rise of iron, but at this rate I'm losing hope that you will ever. Me and many others are growing impatient, especially after spending £50 or $70(I think, live in Britain) and knowing BUNGiE, we'll be lucky if you listen to us. If this isn't fixed by a week after rise of iron's release, I expect compensation especially seeing that I can't get a refund. Thank you for listening, if you are.
