We are actively investigating player reports regarding recent TAPIR Errors received by players on all platforms. We have identified the cause of this issue and are working diligently to reach a resolution.
This thread will be updated with new information as it becomes available. If you have encountered this issue, please Comment in this thread with your PSN ID/ Xbox Gamertag, as well as exactly which console you have received this error on.
Thank you for your patience as we pursue a resolution to this issue.

Otterhai here. Played on 360 since middle of year one. Decided to switch over to xbone to play iron, even though I'll have to buy 3 xboxs so my son's can play too. This doesn't seem like bungie is really ting to fix the issue.

4 RepliesWell, I guess my theory about fixing it on tuesday because of the weekly reset was wrong, wow how much longer is this gonna take, i am seriously starting to agree with these people who are saying we deserve silver or exotics in our account once this gets fixed, 335 exotics would be preferable, this has been happening for 9 days now, come on get yourselves in gear and get it fixed, we all want to play now

You can't even call them. It says to come here and if you stay on the line it sends you to a mailbox that is full and transfers you to an operator that dosent exist and hangs up on you

A simple update on whats going on goes a long way, im sure others like myself are getting progressively annoyed and bored of logging on every day to see if your game finally works but receive the tapir error code. no update. no fix. fans will move on. i've recently bought rise of iron and have a whole load of game time on destiny but even i am at the point of giving up. gg bungie.

2 RepliesPlease Bungie, please fix this. I'm not asking for anything extra just the game I paid for twice. I understand that these things happen and may take a while to sort out. I also understand the reason to drop the old consoles to continue making this a better game. I don't understand why we can't be given an honest and informative update on this issue. I know it's a holiday but I can't believe that there isn't anybody on duty. Someone who can at least fill us in on something . My free time is limited between work and a small child.
