Hello all,
We are actively investigating player reports regarding recent TAPIR Errors received by players on all platforms. We have identified the cause of this issue and are working diligently to reach a resolution.
This thread will be updated with new information as it becomes available. If you have encountered this issue, please Comment in this thread with your PSN ID/ Xbox Gamertag, as well as exactly which console you have received this error on.

I figured it'd be fixed by weekly reset, but by the looks of the recent posts, I'd say that it didn't happen... This only adds to the constant stream of disappointment from Bungo. Maybe we should start asking ourselves why we even play this game. I know I am.

With these sort of issues, your company is demanding a lot for too little. As a Veteran that is trying to make several grandchildren happy, this looks bad. Gamertag is DreadnaughtRise.

6 RepliesPSN ID muzikman395 - Upgrade from PS3 to PS4 I purchased the upgrade Friday, and after receiving the TAPIR error code a dozen times I have been logging in, waiting, checking this update page, as well as the twitter page to no avail. This is pretty bad customer service, even for a holiday weekend. It's now been 5 days since your initial post and no update? Luckily for me I already have the hardware and am only out the $39.99 for the update, but it seems like there are a lot of people out there who have shelled out a lot more than that. I love the game and want to play, but this is most definitely leaving a bad taste in my mouth...

Maybe if they stop posting the same reply over and over again (look at the replies, you'll know what it is), they would have a valid point. EDIT: So it seems that people didn't like what I said but what I said was not referring to this issue, it was to the majority of fanbase. Well not as bad as it was in the last year, I've noticed that the fanbase of destiny is getting out of hand. Sure there is a lot of things wrong with this game but we some how we overcome it and that's with patience. People complained out Crimson Days but that didn't stop is waiting for the April update. I know some people, especially me, play this game most of the time and can't get of it but we need to eventually. Only recently the fanbase got impatient. The change to me was noticeable and what I said was not to offend anyone but to think like most of us used to do. I hope people can see me perspective and if you don't agree, it's OK. It my opinion and you have the right to agree or disagree. Just don't be offensive

I have just installed the destiny upgrade to go from my 360 to the XBox 1, this includes the Rise of Iron. I downloaded this from the XBox store. Now I cannot log in and bring my profile over to the XBox 1. I have tried several times but I continue to get the tapir error. I have stopped others from purchasing this download until I see the problem fixed. I guess you never heard of Alpha and Beta testing. Very disappointed in you company. By the way I have owned and ran software companies so I know how bad this reflects on your head of development. They would be updating their CV if they worked for me, no excuse for this type of error being released on clients.

9 RepliesHello Bungie, TommyShmurdah here. Listen.. I get it.. You got a lot going on right now. You're trying "your best" to get this game of yours back up and running. You got a thread of thousands of people just trying to get their moneys worth.. But what YOU need to get is the fact that you have a product that people want. People want it so bad they are willing to go out of their way to spend approx. $350 dollars to upgrade their hardware in order to use your product. Myself. I just dropped close to $400 bucks if not more of my hard earned cash TODAY with the purchase of a new PS4, TTK, the pre-order of The Rise of Iron, AND a plus subscription. After that I'm met with this error code... I'm not one to make waves... but this is the ONLY game i play between my two jobs. I just pray this issue is resolved when i get home from my first shift. Keep up the hard work. We are ALL counting on you.
