We are actively investigating player reports regarding recent TAPIR Errors received by players on all platforms. We have identified the cause of this issue and are working diligently to reach a resolution.
This thread will be updated with new information as it becomes available. If you have encountered this issue, please Comment in this thread with your PSN ID/ Xbox Gamertag, as well as exactly which console you have received this error on.

2 RepliesI've been receiving the tapir error code for 4 days now. There isn't any maintenance as far as I can see because my friends are still able to play. I am not upgrading from a different console as I can see that's what a lot of people's frustrations are. I'm not sure how I fit into all the other problems everyone else is having aside from the same error code. Please get this fixed or let me know what I should try next.

So am getting the tapir error message to, after it gives me the action to upgrade from legacy, then it tries to sign in, then tapir error. But this is the part that makes me question and think that they hate people who played on ps3 or 360, I have another xbox live, so I tried to play destiny for the first time, and no problem it works fine.
