Hello all,
We are actively investigating player reports regarding recent TAPIR Errors received by players on all platforms. We have identified the cause of this issue and are working diligently to reach a resolution.
This thread will be updated with new information as it becomes available. If you have encountered this issue, please Comment in this thread with your PSN ID/ Xbox Gamertag, as well as exactly which console you have received this error on.

8 RepliesAn update please! I mean it's pretty obvious it's not going to get fixed today but so far I have seen nothing where you are even trying to fix the issue. I was already upset with bungie for splitting a game on 2 consoles.... this is just the icing on the cake. We've missed trials, we've missed The Last Word, and some are still working on Moments of Triumph. I've stuck around on Destiny on the Ps3 bc not everyone in my team have been able to purchase a 4 yet. It's alot of money people are willing to pay to continue on a game they love and then to have this happen. Yeah, things screw up and sometimes things don't work as planned but communication is key. Even if you don't know what the problem is tell us!! At this point most of us are just looking for an update.

1 ReplySystem: ps4 ID: THEBLONDDEVIL34 So I had to go back to PS3 for a while but I was able to get back on the ps4 I've been playing on for over a year and now when I try to import my account all I get is error code Tapir when I'm trying to sign in. I've never had this problem before and I'd like to know what's going on. I even bought my own ps4 for Rise of Iron and the same thing happens on that system too. I'm really pissed about this and I'd like to actually play again.

My son is getting error code tapir when converting his account to my ps4. I was able to with my account just fine. His account name is mike102803 converting from ps3 to ps4.

Just switched from xbox 360 to xbox one and got caught in the tapir error code. I don't have alot of patience, so if this is not fixed quickly, I will be returning this to the store and quitting gaming. Where are all your brainy computer people?

System: PS3 ID: Draigden Just got back home from being out of town for work in a hotel that makes you pay per day to get more than 1.5m internet. So haven't been on in over a month. I got my 10 month old (teething at the time too) down for a nap and get no destiny to relax with. Why Bungie?! Why?

System: Ps4 ID: superdude_jr please fix it I bought a ps4 to play ROI (for the most part) and I would love to play & if this tapir thing continues past ROI release (probably won't) but if it does I probably won't t play destiny afterwards which sucks cause I've been playing this game a long time and I went hard with the grind and I loved it i really wanna continue playing hope it's fixed soon
