  • System: Ps4 ID: superdude_jr please fix it I bought a ps4 to play ROI (for the most part) and I would love to play & if this tapir thing continues past ROI release (probably won't) but if it does I probably won't t play destiny afterwards which sucks cause I've been playing this game a long time and I went hard with the grind and I loved it i really wanna continue playing hope it's fixed soon

  • Drunkndwarf666 I have the tapir code. I bought the Xbox one to continue to play destiny. An up date would be nice. I spent a lot of money as did many other players .

  • So since Friday, you've been working diligently to resolve this but with no updated information at all your promise of information as it becomes available is either a lie, your work ethic is nowhere close to being diligent, your busy at pax west, or you aren't working on it. Or a disgruntled employee sabotaged destiny and no one knows how to fix it and you just dont want to say it, or worse. I'm angry bungie. Not over the error. I actually missed this problem by a day. But because in my opinin you didnt keep your promise to keep us in the loop. my best friend, and clanmate can't play, and I've promised on this thread I wouldn't play until tho got resolved. I intend to stand by this as does my clan. I hope in some way that helps. Thank you, GuthixPriest

    • They will most likely fix it with the big update September 8th. Destiny works for people who accepted the account update the day it came out, which is weird.

          • Webee1201 on Xbox one just paid $19.99 for taken king and also $59.99 for collectors edition when purchasing taken king still gave me same tapir error code when my grandsons xbox game is working fine who lives 30 miles away. I think I should and expect a refund of $19.99 for taken king since I also purchased the collection edition, Right ?? Please fix this.

          • Come on Bungie. Stop ignoring us. You got what you wanted. We dropped our legacy systems, re-purchased Destiny and purchased or planned to purchase “Rise Of Iron”. I know your priority is to get your new game out by the scheduled release date but show a little respect to those of us who have shown our dedication to the game by investing our money in what was needed for us to continue to play. Pull a few guys off of the “Rise Of Iron” project and get us back online. Show us a little respect! You should at least be giving us updates on a regular basis. Show us a little respect!!!

            • ok bungie it's been days I've spent over a hundred dollars on destiny for the Xbox 360 and. I had to buy it all over again for the Xbox one I just want to play the game I love. I want to import my characters and play the game and get ready for rise of amazing iron.

              • Pretty sure most of us are almost at the point or already is deciding to give up on destiny because we feel like we wasted our money.,I bought my 1 Thursday and only had money to buy 1 game until Friday it was destiny and it's not working so I have nothing to play.,thanks for nothing Lzl djayx lzl Xbox one

              • This is getting a little ridiculous bungie. I went out, bought a brand new Xbox one Slim, bought destiny and pre-ordered rise of iron all last Thursday. Tried to log in, received the error message, thought "I'll just try again tomorrow" only to find the same thing, and that this thread popped up. When I saw it would be fixed soon I was relieved, and felt good that I wasn't the only person, because more people having the problem means it's a more pressing problem, right? Apparently not.... You say we'd get updates on progress, and I get it, no progress no update, but what bothers me is that there is no progress. How many full days have you had try to fix an error that you supposedly know why it's being caused? I don't believe it. You guys are losing a little credibility in my eyes, and I've always been the one to brag about how good your customer service is, getting out hot fixes fast since the days of halo. But this is honestly ridiculous.

              • Please keep us in the loop Bungie, I'm frustrated because I work during the week. I don't really get to play much, I thought I can get some Destiny in before Rise of Iron, but it looks like Rise of Iron will be out before you fix this issue. I play on Playstation 4 and follow your twitter account. You haven't fixed everything and now you're not updating us on the process? I mean I understand it's a job and we can't all work weekends. But at least have someone update the account, just letting us know rather than saying the issue has subsided and yet we still are stuck with this issue.

              • This was also pretty much my last shot at finishing the triumph challenge. Had only a few things to grind. I work so i dont get to playing during the week. Beyond frustrated at this point. It is so ignorant to wait until tuesday to fix the issue when its convenient for you but not for your customers who have been waiting for 6,7,8, days in some cases to play the damn game. People have traded in old legacy consoles to upgrade and play and cant. You SAY OR TWEET NOTHING for days. Frankly I dont want to see another one of your apology videos. The community this the community that. We get better service at a fast food drive thru. Thanks for everything but i dont think im going on the rest of this ten year journey with you guys. Moments of Triumph my ass. You should make a Days of Silence badge for yourselves and give it to all those affected by this tapir crap and your intentional silence, and please dont tell us how amazing your pax west trip was, nobody cares.
