Hello all,
We are actively investigating player reports regarding recent TAPIR Errors received by players on all platforms. We have identified the cause of this issue and are working diligently to reach a resolution.
This thread will be updated with new information as it becomes available. If you have encountered this issue, please Comment in this thread with your PSN ID/ Xbox Gamertag, as well as exactly which console you have received this error on.
Thank you for your patience as we pursue a resolution to this issue.

Am upgrading my son to xbox 1 but his account keeps getting Tapir after the upgrade page. Yet I can log on with no difficulty. Please advise. Its his birthday friday, and this will be the first thing he will want to play. So please do not disappoint an autistic child

1 ReplyJust bought PS4 and purchased Destiney Bundle yesterday and TAPIR error keeps on coming up, WHY Bungie? What is this error? If you are no longer performing maintenance why are so many people affected by it? Please advise when resolved, this is most unsettling.

Do you know that, back in year one, I thought that the Destiny servers could prevail unbroken, and that not one account could be left as a phantom, and that your final verdict was that Destiny would keep up for ten years accross all platforms. Or that your doctrine of passing was to log on your old gen account to keep all your progress, and that the light house could show you the path to success... but believe it or not, I ran out of madals to say how much I'm disappointed about Bungie.

Well just spent over $300 to play over the Labor Day weekend on my new system and error code tapir ended that idea if I'd known your servers were gonna mess up over the weekend I would have bought another game to play instead of wasting it on destiny collection and waiting for Tuesday update to fix this when I have blaming work on that day.

Its crazy if you have a character on 360 you cant get even get in the game on xbone i guess cause the character import wont work but I was able to start a brand new character using my girlfriends gamertag (she doesn't have a "legacy" character to import) with no problems at all, go figure
