Hello all,
We are actively investigating player reports regarding recent TAPIR Errors received by players on all platforms. We have identified the cause of this issue and are working diligently to reach a resolution.
This thread will be updated with new information as it becomes available. If you have encountered this issue, please Comment in this thread with your PSN ID/ Xbox Gamertag, as well as exactly which console you have received this error on.
Thank you for your patience as we pursue a resolution to this issue.

Awful customer service. Shame on bungie. Can't you afford 1 scrub to tell your loyal customers what's going on and the fix ETA? I don't even have this error my friend I'm waiting to play with just upgraded to ps4 and is having the TAPIR error.

Like everybody else as of about yesterday the error code Tapir has popped up on my screen whenever I try to transfer my character. And of course this would happen when xur decides to all the last word. KraZe Snip3s/ Xbox One

Edited by HELLKID420: 9/3/2016 6:55:15 PM21 hours and no updates as to what the hell is going on and yet you identified the problem but have yet to fix it whats the hold up is it that your just now coming to terms that your morons or maybe no one wants to work this weekend so your stuck having to think of better excusses to stall for time untill monday come on you havent even updated your twitter posts its the same posts getting re-tweeted over and over its as if you think we are all idiots i am insulted at the lack of support and infomation i have seen from you i mentioned a temporary soulution about disabling the account transfer process untill the problem is fixed then once its fixed you re-enable the account transfer process rebooting the servers forcing everyone back to the title screen to which they will then have to accept the transfer process and everyone is happy -#EPICBUNGIEFAIL-
