This is a very frustrating experience. Im writing this to tell all in my opinion on the time frame. On one hand, I have downloaded Warframe, and have black ops 3 that came with the model. So my ps4 is no longer a decorative brick. I also have my ps3, which i'd have been quite happy to continue playing through rise of iron(paying for expansions silver, maybe a character progression so I could redo a corrected here or there...) The truth is we are all being denied service! That needs to be compensated in a reasonable way. Such as some sort of in game incentive or discount on the next expansion. Period. I know we are the peasants because we had a ps3 blah blah. Look I have a beast of rig that blows away everything. All I ever wanted was to just play it on there, gave up that fantasy and passed on destiny for years. I bought it on a whim last month. Didn't expect to find destiny this engrossing. However I bought it at the bitter sweet end of legacy, which being out of the loop I didn't know before purchasing. So I chose, as apparently many, many people here did, to take the plunge on a next gen console. (Though I never wanted one) There 388 posts so far, it'll be 1000 before long. This game is operating on across multiple networks, on two different architectures, 6 separate corporate layers of digital market places, and 4 sets of hardware. This was inevitable. given the rise of numbers of complaints with the proportion of the population it effects, I'm guessing they won't have it fixed until a patch (4 system wide) comes because this is likely ingrained some where in all that mess. Probably the exploit they used to share the world between the legacy consoles and current gen, ironically doesn't play well with being separated and set up independently. Kind of makes sense since they rushed to put it on 4 very different (static) platforms. It's probably a inherent design that will take quite a bit of undoing, and in the end the people who are updating and or stuck on Legacy will pay the price. Ain't netcode grand. Look people aren't getting vocal enough, everyone here need to talk with Sony, Microsoft, and Activision as well. At 360 a pop, I'm guessing psn and Xbox, just got a couple million dollars, off us saps. They are just as respsible! Hell maybe even more as it could be an error on their end. Even if you get the run around they need to to be made aware as well. To Bungie I paid twice for your game, and more. I'm still playing(on ps3), and hopefully soon ps4, but you shouldnt have succumbed to this corporate push. Sony sells PlayStations! Not You! You make games! You should have just staggered the rise release date for the Ps3/360 by 6-7 months. You could have canceled for technical difficulties well after the 20th, well before anyone pre-purchased and started this legacy process when you had time, money, a successful launch, and staff to figure this bug out. BEFORE you took away features from all consoles and gave your legacy players a big punch to the groin twice

  • I agree fully, I'm not surprised at the issue, the levels of complexity to make it all work is staggering. The issue suddenly arising a couple of weeks after it was separated really sucked. Bungie would relieve a great deal of stress from players if they just said the time sensitive activities and merchants would be extended or accessible by those denied service. That's what is making everyone upset, we are in a crunch and helpless. Ease our stress and give us the same opportunity to farm for the coins and buy the exotics. I feel for everyone that has been trying to get a last word, 500+ strange coins and it took buying a legacy primary for me to get one, and it's needed to acquire another exotic. So bungie needs to do something, it's the most loyal of players that feel the pain. The ones that just shelled out hundreds of dollars to play a game, and buy that exact game a second time. Listen to your loyal consumers bungie, or our voices will be silent as we turn our backs on the community we have actively help establish.

    i agree, this whole gotta push everything before a proper test and debug period is either just pure ignorance or pure greed and the posts have double since your last post up to 651 posts #EPICBUNGIEFAIL

  • It's as long as it needed to be my friend. I hope some do read it, agree, and take action with other companies I spoke of. However realized as I wrote it was just 0.2. People don't pick up pennies any more.
