[i]The roaring dragon flew through the clouds and into the twilight barrier. Upon his back, a new figure flew towards castle dusk. "Works." His past...unknown. But one could guarantee his past was one of violence. Soaring beside them, his bald eagle. The dragon approached the thousands steps and landed smoothly like a plane. Works through his leg over the dragon and hopped off. His eagle landing on his shoulder, beside his bald head. The dragon began to grow smaller, his scales turning into skin. And eventually, he turned back into his human form, Smuag. Now, the two men approach the castle gate, in order to seek the answers they look for.[/i]

Smaug- Don't do anything dumb. Works- Do I ever? Smaug- Why do I even bother? [b]they starts to walk up the steps[/b] Works- You couldn't have parked any closer to the door!? Smaug- Quit your whining. [b]they make it up the steps and Smaug knocks on the gate[/b]

[i]The door opens just the slightest. And a large black knight stands behind it.[/i] "Oi! Who the hell are ya?!" [i]The two notice that guards have taken their positions across the cleaned up hallway, which they now use as a perch of sorts to watch the castle door.[/i]

Smaug- My name's Smaug and my friend here is my body guard. I need to see King Falk. [b]Works grins when he hears "bodyguard"[/b] [b]although nobody can tell because his helmet[/b] [spoiler]his suit is pretty much all black and covers his body[/spoiler] [spoiler]and is more like armor than a suit I guess[/spoiler]

"Smuag? The dragon one?" [i]The mans burly Scottish accent is hard to miss.[/i] [i]A man from above speaks down to the large knight.[/i] "Aye! The one that were that Sargent Falk talked to us about!" "Really?!" "Aye!" "Well I see no mind in letting em in do you guys?" "Not in the slightest!" [b]The large knight opens the door and stands to the side. Allowing the two to walk into the massive entrance. A blood red carpet splits off into eight ways down eight different hallways. The chandelier hangs from the ceiling, and blood still stains the walls. A tall slender man, whose features are highlighted by the red lines moving across his face, approaches the two. [/b] Butler: "Ah! Smuag. The king just sent a messenger out to you! I hope you revived his message?"

Smaug- No... I didn't... Works- What's with all the blood? [b]Smaug turns and faces Works angrily[/b] [b]Works backs off[/b]

"Ah. Shame. Well, you are here now. I shall take you to see the highness now. If you will follow me..." [b]The slender Butler begins making his way down the centre hallway. The two men follow shortly behind him. They approach a large wooden door, but seems badly damaged. The butler opens it...to the throne room. The throne room is large and tall. The ceiling easily being twenty stories tall. Pillars line the sides and are connected by their suited arches. Past them is a smaller out cove of the room. Holes are blasted through the ceiling, and the rubble has been moved to the side. He blood red carpet continues on to the throne, but it seems slightly greyed in one area, just before the throne. Falk stands beside his throne. Talking to two hooded and robed figures, his sorcerers.[/b] Falk: "-So we'll have to find him then. We can't have him running around, he could start the rebellion up all over again. Or stop us dead in our-" [b]Falk stops talking as he sees Smuag enter the room. He waves his hand, and the sorcerers both turn and leave. He stares at Smuag for a moment before stepping down the stairs, arms opened wide.[/b] "Smuag?! Holy shit! Long time no see friend!" [b]The butler bows and leaves.[/b]

Smaug- Indeed. But I'm not here to catch up. I'm here to get answers. First things first, what was in the message you sent me? I didn't get it. [b]Works looks up to the ceiling and at the walls, he seems to be observing the place[/b]

[b]Falk raises a questionable looking eyebrow.[/b] "Oh...so you didn't get it. Alright...well the letter explained everything but I will simply tell you by word of mouth now." [b]He takes a large breath.[/b] "Tubbs is dead."

Smaug- Yeah I figured that out. I heard someone named Anne was on infiltration. I need to talk to her. Unless she told you what happened. Which if that's the case, tell me everything.

"There's no need to speak to my daughter on this issue. I can tell you what you need to know. So...It started around two months ago. Tubbs took up the mission to find and recruit the Kage clan. A group specialized in assassination and espionage. Upon arriving in Khalosh, he found the kage. He was assigned to take down a CEO who would have unified all the gangs in Khalosh. But, when he got to the CEO, he was ready to make a deal. The man offered all the gangs in Khalosh for our army, in exchange for the death of the kage. He took his offer. Tubbs raided the kage, killed two of their members and had the third killed. That left Harkon and Eric. Tubbs retreated, but the gangs weren't happy with this. So they tried to kill him. That didn't work out either. Either way, the mission was a Colossal failure. Zane repaired relations with the kage, and they joined our army. They were assigned to infiltration but I suppose Tubbs wanted to join the ride as well. The Burst reported to me that Tubbs gave the kage a death threat before the mission started. This put the two of them on edge. Later in the mission, the kage got the drop on Tubbs, shot him in the head, and left him for dead. They shut a massive door behind them to ensure that. Later though, Tubbs came back and attacked the kage. At the same time a merc named Cole Anderson attacked Zane. Most would assume they worked together. Tubbs fought the kage, and killed Eric. The burst, the pale shades and Harken all teamed up to take him down...since he had Jeopardized the mission. Harken eventually tackled him out of the castle...and into the mountains...taking Tubbs life as well as his own...."

Smaug- The Burst and Pale Shades are alive? Works- Well that's a sweet way to die.

Smaug- Why didn't anybody try to save him when he was shot? They betrayed him! [b]Smaug starts to walk out[/b] Works- Woah woah woah. Calm down. Who are we killing? We don't even know where the Burst is.

"Zane tried his best to go back Smuag! But the kage had shut the door down! There was no way!" [b]A grim look comes over talks face. As he stares at works. [/b] "Wait...what did you just say...?"

Works- Me? Smaug- Yeah you. You ruined it all man. Works- Hey I was just asking a question. Smaug- Anyways, where's Burst?

[b]Falk tilts his head. His smile from before is not to be seen. He walks towards the two.[/b] "...why would I tell you. Smuag?"

Smaug- Why wouldn't you?

"Not sure. Maybe because I'm unsure of what you'll do when you find her."

Smaug- Have a cup of tea. Obviously.

"Right." [b]Falk clearly doesn't believe this. Especially considering what Works had said just before.[/b]

Smaug- Pants, Falk, whatever. Tell me now. Or this will end badly. Works- Ok ok boys drop it. Mr.Falk, just tell us where Burst is and we'll be on our way.

[b]Falk turns his back on the two of them. Walking up his pedestal. He sits in his repaired throne. Putting his hand on his chin.[/b] "Hmph! Well so much for that then eh Smaug? You both want to kill the burst is that it? Some conquest for revenge? I've seen it a million times. It never ends well."

Smaug- Maybe not. But that's the risk we're taking. Now, tell me where the Burst is. [b]Works pulls out his sniper, expecting a fight[/b] [b]he looks up and Mikey flies up high to avoid the battle[/b]
