The only time I'm getting the 'tapir' error code is when I'm trying to import my account from my PS3. If I go to make a new account and start up destiny, it works flawless.

I completely understand you. I literally upgraded from legacy, and it's kind of petty that it won't even let you transfer your character as of right now.

I'd be completely fine with starting a new character. I only played it on 360 for three days. But it won't even give me the option to import later, as it does in grand theft auto 5
