This error continues to plague both accounts on my recently-purchased Xbox One (BonyHands and Otterhai).
In addition, I am unable to purchase The Collection Upgrade on either account. I think it's time for Bungie to consider offering an exclusive discount for players in situations like mine, and a 50% reimbursement for players who have already purchased The Collection, only to have it fail to log in for a week straight.
If the problem isn't resolved by the release date, the pre-order bonuses should be granted to all players affected, given that many if not all of us would have been pre-order players if not for Bungie's negligence.
