THE DOJO

The Dojo. Located on the diverse planet of Tatakai, the Dojo consists of the largest gathering of fighters the universe has ever seen. Men and women from all different cultures, races and worlds come to train, compete and fight together. Many battles have been raged on its soil, but it remains standing. Here, one can write, fight and talk with other writers who seek to create stories with one another. All you have to do is start typing. The New Dojo(JOIN HERE!)
Join our group! Free of charge! I swear! https://www.bungie.net/en/Clan/Forum/1677784/0/3/0 USE THIS LINK IF THAT OTHER ONE DOES NOT WORK. https://www.bungie.net/en/Groups/Chat?groupId=1677784 Once you pass your test and have joined the group sign here: https://www.bungie.net/en/Forum/Post/215168136/0/0 NOTE: You do not have to be tested to join the dojo. Only to PvP.
Who we are
The dojo is an ENTRY LEVEL AND ONE OF THE ONLY PUBLIC RP THREADS. RP is A way of interactive creative writing. Where you can go on adventures, have fights and generally have fun. Think of dungeons and dragons, but its horribly imbalanced since there is not an experience system or dice. Its great! The Dojo loves different opinions, ideas and writing no matter if you are new to RP(roleplay) or extremely experienced. If you have an opinion to share about how to make the dojo better, contact one of the Sensei's that run the place (We would prefer this rather then excessive and unintelligent shit talking). Every work of writing is appreciated and accepted (shitposts…maybe not so much).
How we work(list of Admins included)
The dojo is run by a group of Sensei’s. These Sensei’s will make up most of the game changing decisions to benefit The Dojo. BUT Everyone's opinion matters a great deal. So the Sensei’s will make poll’s within the group for the members to vote and decide on big issues/ideas. Even then, the sensei’s will inform the group of changes and decisions made. The list of sensei’s are as follows: Inflatablepants/Pants(GONE ON HIATUS) The God-Eater/Cob Royalblade/Royal Fresh Cazberry/Vio nullCth/Cth And the leader of the dojo union: Tubbs
OUR GOAL
At the dojo, we want to provide an amazing place for you to improve on your writing in a fun way. We love new faces, and will accept you as soon as you walk up to the door. We also love other RP threads that have really awesome stuff, and we want to invite them all here so we can have a hub world of sorts. Whether this is through an interdimensional portal, space ships or whatever. We want everyone we can to be a part of this and interact with everyone! This way, you can meet people you never would have met before. If you are a leader of an RP group and are interested in this, please contact me so we can discuss further! I like discussing stuff!
RULES
https://www.bungie.net/en/Forum/Post/212678270/0/0
How to PvP
Player VS Player Is what the dojo is known for. Basically, you can fight each others characters with your own, to see who’s the best or to simply make some kick ass action. Please follow all the rules while you fight, so you can make it as badass as possible. In order to PvP you must be tested by a sensei, or a designated tester of the dojo. You can find out who is a tester by seeing "How we Work." Also, When you fight another player make sure that you always react to their move. The best way to do this is like this. >Have a stanza dedicated to your reaction from you opponents last reply. >Have a stanza dedicated to your attack. If you completely block another opponents attack, its courteous to not attack them within the same reply. This way, you’ll never go wrong.
World Creation(Getting started at the Dojo starts here)
This is the most important section for you RP experience. This is where you make your characters, their stories, where they could live. Also, this is where you can create a Faction to participate in the thread, as well as having access to writing for the group(The stories you write do not have to relate to the dojo at all) Bio's(RECCOMENDED) https://www.bungie.net/en/Forum/Post/212677641/0/0 Backstory for Characters https://www.bungie.net/en/Clan/Post/1677784/217556475/0/0 Property Creator https://www.bungie.net/en/Clan/Post/1677784/220228259/0/0 Writers Hub https://www.bungie.net/en/Clan/Post/1677784/220575696/0/0 Faction Creator https://www.bungie.net/en/Clan/Post/1677784/222042811/0/0
The Dojo
Physical Appearance https://www.bungie.net/en/Forum/Post/212677894/0/0 NOTE: The dojo only uses Mac Cannons for any kind of defense. • The Writer's Due, Part One Dojo Starbucks 10:18 AM To each beginning is the start of its own end. This is the last social interaction available with Quincy and will remain open until the final part is concluded. Lumpy. Not a word often associated with bar stools but it fit the bill perfectly for the abomination of a chair Quincy was sitting on. Other than the rocky surface texture of the stool, it was just like all the other smooth wooden ones. The weather outside was terrible. Despite the bitterly cold temperatures, it was still managing to pour down raining, forcing most people to stay inside to avoid the downpour. And thus, the cafe was packed, and Q was stuck sitting in the one seat no one wanted. Waiting for his morning coffee to cool, he sat there tapping his fingers on the counter. (Open to all.)

      • "Gen:Lock Systems Status: Online." Rubicon Forward Test Sight, outside Dojoville. 1100 Hours ====================== "Alright, systems online. You sure it won't rip me in half, Command?" Evan had to ask, last test some poor soul got wrenched in half by the semi bulky set of armor. Although this time, the eggheads at R&D swore they got it right, and crunched the numbers. They wanted Valkyrie to test it, their bodies where more durable, more built to handle something like this armor. So there he stood, Evan Xiao, Gamma Company; ID 771. Next to him, stood Emily "Minx" Black, Foxtrot Company; ID 093. Both of them where younger than the previous companies, so far only Gamma and Foxtrot where stationed upon Tatakai, with not much to do, and since eggheads back home needed tests done, they had no choice. The two soldiers stood in the small clearing, devoid of trees and life save grass and the dirt, with high walls surrounding the football stadium sized clearing; a building set up with flood lights on, aimed down at the two. In truth the area was set up for the public anomalies to use too, as a sign of friendship. Then the speaker in Evan's armor piped up. "Evan, have some optimism! The eggheads said we would survive, plus this armor is pretty damned cool." Minx echoed in his headset, and he couldn't help but grin. The damned woman was always optimistic. Then he responded, equally cheerful in how he worded things. "You know, Minx, your right! Maybe this time, the suits will work correctly! I mean, its not like Johnny got snapped in half!" He chuckled then, his usual sarcastic demeanor getting the best of him. Minx followed suit in laughing, the two doubling over while the scientists watching shook their heads in disapproval. A ding was heard in their headsets then. "Emily, Evans. Shut up and snap too, we have work to do." In the small instant those words where spoken, the two soldiers shut up, snapping to attention. Leon, the 30 something year old man with no wife or kids and a hard on for designing tech; they respected him as much as he respected them. Leon spoke again then, using a push-to-talk microphone from inside the building to communicate. "Alright you numskulls, lets see what you can do! Those suits you two are wearing, we call Gen:Lock, or GL; abbreviated for Good Luck. Those are Mark IVs, the latest and greatest. Why don't you think of a sturdy melee weapon?" Minx and Evans glanced to each other then, grinning under the sheen black visors of their helmets. The both of them didn't know how the armor worked; Leon said it was through their neural links, think and it does. Well, Minx tested that first; as the first thing to pop into her mind was a massive hammer. The suit clicked then, hydraulics working as in her very hands; a black fluid seeped from the armor, hardening into a mixture to rival Titanium-Carbide plating, and then formed a massive hammer. The weapon being some seven feet in length, the head of it being one sided, counterweighted with a blade on the back. Leon grinned from his vantage point, watching. Minx was laughing, with a grunt she hefted the massive thing into the air, swinging it about as its weight carried it around, slamming into the ground and scattering dirt and rocks. Evans on the other hand, had a different idea on melee; conjuring up a simple broad sword, scaled to his size. The black fluid hardening into a honed blade, its density shifting to match the weight of a real sword. He gave it a good few test swings, thoroughly impressed. Leon echoed in their headsets again then; "Good job you two, you didn't wrench yourselves in half. Johnny didn't get this far before; seems the eggheads where right, Valkyries would be better for this. Your previous experience with armor that melds with the mind is phenomenal." In truth, what he meant was the standard TALOS powered armor systems Valkyrie soldiers used. Now though, Gen:Lock would be added to that armor, as Minx and Evans would be the first of a new breed of soldier, able to adapt to any situation. "Ay Leo, what exactly can this armor do? Asking for a friend." Minx had to ask it, as Leon chuckled. "Melee for now, although they can create shields, armor plating, and once we can master transforming matter, anything. Gen:Lock is the first step." He responded in a cool voice, calming himself down. "You two keep experimenting, I need to record the data. Please don't kill each other!" Minx grinned then, as Evans turned to face her. If there was one thing Valkyrie could do; that was understand each other far too well. Evans raised his sword, and Minx swung.
Open, experimenting with these two as possibly new characters New concept armor I'm messing with as well Feel free to do anything though
A random duel that I can’t think of a name for on top of a Cliff somewhere Lysanther was standing at the very edge of a steep cliff. He was watching the sun set. The elf was playing his violin softly and poetically. The elf was expecting company, he knew someone was coming, and that he was very exposed. The elf had no weapons or armor on him, because he didn’t need them. He was just standing there, watching the sun set, awaiting the arrival of his opponent. Red Sun Over Paradise "All I'm saying is - give war a chance." -Sundowner —————————————————
Open to reactions and whoever wants to chat with Bella.
Dojoville Center 2:30 PM Forgive Me Outside of the massive, transparent dome that separated the Trayven's fortress and Rubicon's own encampments from the modernized civilization that was Dojoville, a temporal stage had been set up, by the warriors in purple that had came to the Dojo. The Trayvens labored upon this for a short time, drawing the attention of the people of Dojoville, as the project was complete. The stage was only accompanied by several armored guards, each bearing rifles and the Trayven insignia of a golden lion and four individuals. Each of the four appeared to be entirely regular people. Three men, and one woman, each one bounded to rising poles. One whom had known Trayven justice knew where this was going. The steps up to the stage would creak slightly, the crowd that had surrounded the stage then falling into silence, as the mighty figurine of Isabella Trayven stepped up to the stage. She looked as if she was a hero out of some old fable, with blackened steel armoring covering her being in thick layers of plates, a sharpened hand axe kept with her waist. She kept a pistol and a combat knife holstered upon the left side of her waist, though her face was revealed for all: sharp, scarred, and threatening, with a mere crack of a frown breaking the expression as the blood red eyes scanned the crowd. The deep purple hair had been curled around her head, yet kept back to flush out her cheeks more. She intended to make this quick. "Convicted of murder of two, Simon Lehman. Sentence: death." The first in the row, from the left, was a young man, barely in his twenties. He yelled out at the sentencing, begging the knights to stop as they would find a torch and ignite the end of the stick. "Convicted of thievery, attempted murder, and rаpe, Chase Darrel. Sentence: death." The previously stern face of the criminal face would break, as he would then try to tear away at his bonds, only for the Trayvens surrounding him to beat him down until he went still, dazedly kept to his bond as his eyes would flutter shut. Isabella knew who to pick. "Convicted of assisting Chase Darrel in hid thieveries, Mormon Darrel. Sentence.." Isabella stopped to look at the third. A young man as well, Chase's son, who was crying at the sight of his now beaten father. The crowd had begun to boo - Trayven supporters, no doubt, while some left as they realized what was happening. "...Service to the Trayven cause." Isabella didn't initially plan out the case, though she served her own justice yet. The young man was untied and thrown off the stage, only to be carried off after his face sunk into the mud. Back into the Trayven encampment. "Finally.. Convicted of treason, betrayal, and forgery, Emilia Ling. Sentence.. death." The final one, a woman, was one that Isabella did recognize. A newcomer, whom turned to service after her home had been destroyed. So, in order to help her retrieve her home again, Tribune spies had made Emilia talk with cash. Isabella never recovered the spies, but she found the Dojoite, begging for mercy. This was mercy. "For years without end. For months, weeks, days.. this place has gone without law, without order, without proper justice. Men and women rise and fall, claiming to bring peace, only to spin their wheel of lies and capital more and more. Today, the wheel breaks." A lie. Isabella needed capital, and she needed support. And she had both, for a time, thanks to a few friends. Now, she needed territory, and a spark of flame to start a blaze. "Today, Dojoville is subjected to proper law. To true justice. To Trayve. Look upon these monsters in human flesh, and look upon them as they pay." Bella didn't write her own speeches. The Trayvens nodded as Isabella stepped to the side, as the torches were raised to the three still kept upon their pyres of flame. Those within the crowd either watched in awe or gazed in terror, or cried out and hid their eyes or blocked their ears, as the screams rang throughout the plaza. The flames cooked and tore through the skin and flesh, melting away the three criminals as the disturbing smell of charred, burning flesh would be suspended into the skies. Minutes afterwards, the screaming halted as the thief's live would cut out, flames still consuming the now blackened corpse. "Justice will come to all murderers, all thieves, all felons who dare to stain this place. The time has come, for true justice, no matter the cost. Thank you, citizens of the Dojo." Shocked, the crowd remained silent, though a few of the more hardcore members would clap as the Trayven woman would step down from the stage. The rest of the knights would bat out the flames before they scorched the whole stage, before leaving them there to smolder and rest, still as death.
An update. Trayvens will "instill justice" upon those that commit public crimes. Misdemeanors are punishable through forced labor usually. Felonies are punishable by death. Yes, I will interrupt chains.
• Natalie had grown bored with her contempt state in life. Well, not exactly. It wasn't her life that bored her, it was the lack of life. There was an aspect of thrill she no longer let in her daily routine, and she knew it. The Manor she lived in was usually filled with guests for parties and other various hosting events, and Amy was there to keep her entertained when nobody else was at the place, or when Nat was too hungover to host. She needed to do something, but she didn't know what - Until, that is, she got an idea. There was something she would do, something requiring her older skillsets of stealth, hopefully. She donned a deep blue sweater and tights, grabbed her staff, and was out the door only a moment after tossing Amy a keyring, one with access to a variety of things within the house. Natalie went through the streets of her upper-class Trayven neighbourhood, eagerly walking past the numerous neighbours and their lackeys until she had left the district of mansions and estates, entering a much bleaker section of Trayven control. It was the downtown areas that had given Natalie a sense of rejuvenation. The nightlife wasnt even what attracted her, it was just the district itself. The immesurably tall buildings were a great climb; the back alleys and fire escapes usually had people of all different backgrounds, from street dealers to classy folk getting their fix of women for the evening; and most importantly, there was an old Dojoville PD barrack she liked to snoop around in. She jogged into the back alley behind the building and found herself slipping through a broken glass window, cutting her sweater's sleeves and ripping small holes all along the shins of her tights. Natalie crept her way through the halls, which were sparse with only a few off-duty officers staying at their stations, until she found herself in their break room. The raven-haired lady grabbed a plastic grocery bag and found the box of doughnuts, putting them inside one by one until it was full. Backtracking was easy, and she had a few more rips of the tights on the side of her thigh and sweater, though none big enough to show any real skin or leave incriminating evidence. Nat climbed herself up to the roof of the building and emptied the bag off the front side. A pile of chocolate and honey glaze donuts rested in front of their doors; All she had to do now was wait for a cop to return. ((Open. Just figured I'd pull some shittery with Nat to get her back in the swing of things.))

The machine observed everyone with blatant curiosity, tilting its head in confusion and poking targets after soldiers fired at them. It stuck out like a sore thumb from its size and the fact it had no idea what it was doing made it clear it was new around here. Eventually, the cannon robot stood in front of the targets and raised an arm, taking aim. After a moment of silence, a loud boom shook the ground as a large discharge of energy was fired at the target and missed off to the side. It landed right in front of you, creating a huge crater and throwing dirt into the air which landed all over you. The bot lowered the cannon arm, staring at you with the lifeless blue eye it had.
Open. Do whatever.
• Back to Basics Dojoville, Sometime Around Noon The hot sun beat down on his head, reflecting off his already light skin and turning Adrien into a living lamp from his brightness. His sunglasses managed to keep the sun out of his eyes well enough, though there was a thin crack in the top where his glasses and forehead failed to meet that sent rays into his blue eyes, causing him to squint slightly. A funny sight to any onlookers on the street, if one took humour in that sort of thing. Adrien looked down at the watch on his wrist, reading the time. About one in the afternoon, he still had some time before the bank closed for the evening. He made haste, maneuvering down the concrete sidewalk and into the glass door of the Dojoville Federal Bank. Getting to the back of the line was quick, but waiting until it dwindled down to just a handful of people in front of him was agonizing, a painstakingly slow experience he wouldn't wish upon anybody. His hand moved into his jacket as he stood behind the last person in line, and he felt his bank card in his hands. Once the man in front moved out of the way with his cash, Adrien smiled to the banker on the other end. She looked fairly young for a banker, maybe twenty six, with flowing brown hair and an only slightly crooked smile on her dark-skinned face. It took a few minutes to get it overwith, but Adrien had gotten the last of his money from the bank - Two hundred dollars or so, that was all he had. He shoved it in the pocket of his jeans with a sigh of annoyance. He knew his credentials weren't enough to get him into a high-paying job, especially having just moved to the city and all, but he needed to find work. When the opportunity arose, he'd look - Until then, he just kept on walking down the road, seeing the sights as he grew accustomed to his new city. ((Open. New character, gonna try to flesh him out more in RP.))

Everyone else had left, leaving only a few people who either were too young, injured by all the shit going on in their home, or by those who didn't think it was best to drink then. In a removed corner of the quaint little coffee shop, sat the ever scarred Alpha. She watched her coffee absentmindedly, mulling over the last part of her life. After the last attack by the NTR, so many months and years after the actual crime she was accused of, she had come to grips with the fact that her current course had her set for self-destruction. She had driven many of her friends (or would have been friends) away with her illogical rationale, brought on by a wary haze of paranoia that soaked into her mind like a cancer. Despite every opportunity given to her to redden herself, she had retreated into a shelter of self-pity fueled by her own mistakes. Her body, her mind, her very soul was corrupted by this cancer gnawing away at her psyche. Following this revelation, she had discarded her weapon, leaving herself defenseless. At this point in her life, she wasn't sure what she should do. Her want for a family had kept her with the Arrowhead, but it had also been the main reason for her current state. Laying down her gun seemed impossible, but she knew that piracy and the debauchery she had engaged in would further harm herself. As time went on, and the night got darker, Alpha remained. The shifts on the cafe changed, and most of the remaining few patrons had left. Her booth was mostly empty, save for herself. Sleep didn't seem like an option, so pondering her life decisions seemed as good a way to pass time as any. Hell, maybe another night owl could even talk to her.
opem
• History is But a Cycle... Northeast Syoki Desert, Tatakai The still silence of the hot desert afternoon was shattered as five Orbital Assault Landing Craft broke the Tatakaian atmosphere, moving towards the great open sands of the desert. The five gargantuan spacecraft were visible from quite a ways away, each nearly three times as long and twice as tall as the average aircraft carrier. Each of the bristled with weaponry, their shields pulsing, visible blue hexagonal patterns visible around them. Each of them also bore the same insignia painted on the bow, an eagle soaring into the wind. After breaking atmosphere, they moved into their formation, forming a sort of perimeter around a large section of land, before moving to land. Dust and debris flew everywhere, the powerful thrusters of each OALC kicking it around. As soon as each of the craft touched the ground, their transport bays began to open, and hordes of men, armored vehicles, supply trucks, combat mechs, and aircraft poured out. Construction equipment followed, along with prefabricated fortifications. Everything they had bore the same insignia, the eagle flying in the wind. They were on Tatakai to establish their presence, courtesy of none other than Lucien Farcon and Inferno. Had any been around to see them, their gear appeared to be fairly advanced, though they were by no means super-futuristic. Most of their weapons appeared to be ballistic, though some of their soldiers sported some rather advanced-looking rifles. They appeared to sport varying units of power armored soldiers and combat hardsuits, along with varying hard, medium, and light armor. Tanks were the most notable thing, all of which looked to be somewhat based on 21st Century main battle tanks. Their armored vehicles appeared based upon both modern MRAPs and a futuristic redesign of German halftracks from the Second World War. Various artillery pieces were quickly moved into position, some self-propelled, others pulled by trucks. Missile defense systems, SAMs, and CIWSs were moved into place as the massive army began to deploy and construct what would be their main operating base. While the majority of the military force set about establishing their base on the planet, contingency units remained aboard the three supercruisers in high Tatakaian orbit. Their orbital weapons systems were primed, but utilizing them would be far too dangerous, and thus despite their readiness, they would not and could not be used. The sheer size of whoever this army was was massive, but what did their arrival have to do with anything? Why would such a massive force arrive out of nowhere? Or was it really out of nowhere? As the base began construction and defensive perimeters were set up, aircraft began their sorties from the OALCs, interceptors looking very similar to the 20th Century F-14 Tomcat multirole fighter, though perhaps a bit bulkier, sporting thrust vectoring nozzles rather than the usual afterburners. They were establishing air cover. With the fighters up, soon reconnaissance drones were sent up and out, and towards both the Dojo and Dojoville. With full visual established, the expeditionary force could be sent forwards to make contact. Such a force was less by an up-armored and heavily modified redesign of a halftrack. Sporting a mounted minigun and an armored troop transport bay, it led the column, followed by four more of its kind. Behind them, ten tanks, all looking somewhat similar to an Abrams, though definitely sporting more advanced armor patterns and cannons. Some appeared to be sporting rail cannons. All of them also carried a secondary turret atop their main cannon, sporting twin 25mm autocannons, with an M3A1 atop that for the commander. On the flanks of the group were several combat mechs, all carrying large shields and 25mm autocannons. Behind them were armored trucks, which presumably were carrying soldiers. All in all, the expeditionary force was quite ready should they be assaulted. Despite their intense armament, their goal was simple. Make contact with the Dojo and Dojoville. Make contact with the specified friendlies. The orders had been given to the commander of the expeditionary force, who also happened to be the commander of all of the forces now on Tatakai, a mercenary who was quite experienced with the Dojo at one time. Sidewinder sat atop the minigun on the lead halftrack, his cybernetic arm resting on the weapon’s receiver. His orders had come straight from Inferno. Inferno’s orders had come straight from Farcon. The group arrived on the outskirts of Dojoville the next morning, the sound of heavy armor nigh-unmistakable to anyone in the town. It wasn’t exactly as if they were going for stealth. Upon arrival in Dojoville, soldiers began piling out of the armored trucks, soon moving to surround their own vehicles, before the column advanced into the town. Sidewinder kind of assumed that driving an armored column straight into a civilian town would get someone’s attention. It worked better than sending one man. He rather liked using intimidation and shows of force to do his bidding for him. It generally worked.
Oh my God it’s good to be back doing what I do best. Open. Go find out what’s up in Dojoville.
Two of the Dojoville night watchers were patrolling a area near one of the city gates when they hear a loud wolflike howl. “Did you hear that?” One guard asked “It was just a wolf.” The second responded. They heard the howl again but this time it was accompanied by a low growl coming from a nearby alleyway. “If that’s a wolf what is it doing in a alleyway? I’m going to check it out.” Guard one said. The night watch jogged to the ally, then reached for a flashlight on his side. He turned it on looking down the ally but did not see anything. Then a form jumped out of the darkness. It was massive at least 7 foot and covered in grey fur. It looked somewhat like a wolf but humanoid. The guard yelled in terror and tried to get away from the beast but it’s claws scratched out at him making deep slash marks in his chest witch quickly led to him bleeding to death. The second Guard heard the yell and ran over to the ally pulling out a pistol as he ran. He reached the alleyway and saw the monster towering over him “Werwolf,” he gasped under his breath before raising his pistol to fire a shot. But the beast was faster backslapping the poor guard in the chest sending him crashing into the ground. Quicker than a blink of a eye the beast was on top of the guard his mouth open wide reveling his long fangs. “No!” The Guard yelled grabbing onto the beast face to try to get it away from his face. But it was to late the beast bit down on the mans face killing him. The beast looked up at the moon and let out a great howl before running off out of the gates and into the woods beyond them.
Open, this is you come in. Hunt it down or do what you want. This post has ambiguous details for a reason, so I can use whichever character of mine I feel could use more development.
There was a man on a bench who was waiting. He was expecting something to happen. After all, the place around him was abuzz with life. The Dojo, as he came to discover, saturated itself with all sorts of events and happenings. Their infamous duels ranged from simple sparring matches, to spectacles in VR, to deities some would even consider gods creating another landmass with their scuffle. Not that he believed in gods or God in the first place. He had other things that demanded his attention over faith. Raising his forearm, he looked at his watch. It had only been a few minutes since he sat down, and he still maintained his peace. Whether that was a good thing or a bad thing was up for debate. After all, with such an abundant amount of events, anything could happen to him. At least, that's what he was told by his acquaintance at the Cleaners. So there he sat. And there he waited.

We have no logged bases here, and no registered cities either, mind checking it out?
“Don’t mind at all, heading down in two.” The German pilot Sophie was already suited up, and in the hangar. Her ship, The Blue Wing sat waiting for her with the cockpit open, already starting up as she climbed in. Her take off was already logged when the hatch closed, immediately pulling away to outside of the ship’s interior. Within a few minutes she was moving below the cloudline, swiftly reaching a safe spectating hight. “I’m seeing some kind of city, maybe a base. It as mac cannons, but a wide open gate, so I’m not so sure... I’ll go check it out.” Without objection from her commanding teammate, she flies down to the surface of the planet, landing quietly close to Dojoville, only maybe 20-30 meters away. She jumps out, locking the cockpit. Sophie heads over to the open gates, in her flight suit and even her helmet still. She was a bit cautious and wanted to make sure she could run if she needed to.
What do you see?
“Not much, it’s just a city. I’ll probably go off coms for a bit if you don’t mind.” She did as she said, and walked into the city, seeing if she could meet anyone, maybe get some info off of them.
Now finished, open
Ollimand Plains, Trayvn Territory- 1:30AM
The Siege of Gardinwal
The long grass of the plains was covered in shadow at this time of night, sweeping around in a trance like state with the wind. Anyone who saw it would have remarked at its simple beauty, its elegance. Further than that, a massive dome towered over the plain scenery, a shield glowing blue in the cool and windy night. However, now was not the time for remarking at its beauty. The Mangy had been preparing, testing and biding their time before striking the small, rather poor, farming town. For now, this was the biggest target they could set their fishy eyes on. There were hundreds of them, hiding their small bodies in the grass, and gurgling to themselves under the wind. Invisible. Despite their small bodies, they had many a number. However, the numbers would be cut by a fourth as a large group detached from the army surrounding the village, forming a thinner circle outside the thick one. A group of twenty from the thicker circle joined them, commanded by the elder Shaman, Tarry the Bold, Blessed by the Leviathan. He raised his hand, and 10 troopers attached gliders to their backs, shouldering their crossbows. He made sure the five Rock Throwers were in position, each at a cardinal direction, and an extra one to the north. 1:45AM. He raised his hand high in the air, and the grass bristled in response, anticipation. And he closed his fist. "Splanish." It was only seconds before a massive roar echoed from the south, as a giant, twenty feet tall crawled its way out of the ground, only its form visible in the dark and new setting fog, courtesy of the Bold Leader Tarry. By now, the convicted criminals were in, their black scales hiding them under the shadows, placing their black bombs on the small wooden wall. Most the army had maneuvered their way into the grass inside the dome, protecting them from far range attacks from the flank. However, most the attention was now at the colossus, slowly marching in from half a mile away, who bellowed in a mighty roar.
Open! Be a defender, or whatever!
The two would be surrounded by bags upon bags of luggage, most looking more feminine in nature while maybe one was basic enough to belong to the tall spearman. They waited outside their building, where the two had spent the last little while. The apartment was a little shoddy, filled with all sorts of different people. You would have your usual edgelords, some kind folks, a few pranksters, and a couple of friends. Overall it was a good enough place for the two to call home for a little while. But now it seemed, they were heading out. “Well, we’re going across the world to start!” Lilly would inform her brother. “Maybe we’ll learn a few things. About...different cultures, and what not.” “Ah. Different cultures....I think I understand.” Cain would say, when in reality he really didn’t. “And from there? What then?” He would ask. “Wh-what...like...like after?” “Yes.” Lilly would have to think for a moment. She wasn’t quite sure what would happen after their trek, but she hoped it would be good to them. “I don’t know! I guess we’ll just have to see, Cain!” She told him with an up beat to her tone. “Ah! Well in that case, I guess we will...what do they say...see where the wind takes us?” Cain would look to her sister after he spoke. She was looking to the road, but then looked up at her brother. He smiled at her, and she would smile back. “Exactly.” Lilly would say, nodding in affirmation. A large taxi would pull up in front of them, where the two would load their luggage into the trunk. Cain would immediately get into the vehicle, meanwhile Lilly would look around Dojoville a final time. She smiled to herself as she would get into the vehicle, the cab driver closing the car door once she was in. She would look at the window the entire duration of the drive through the village, observing the people, the warriors...her friends. As the village began to fade from view, just barely peaking over the mountains as the taxi continued its drive, she would say something. It was something only she could hear, and it would be carried away as fast as she had said it. “See ya later...dojo.”
Whelp. This is it for me! I’m heading out for five months, and so I won’t be active here really during that duration. Wish you all the best, and let’s hope this place has a few more shenanigans left in it when I get back! Such a color was mixed with a bright orange and the darkened grey of clouds above the world, with their large, puffy bodies and their complex formations. It was this Wednesday afternoon at the Church of the Stars, a smalltime church of worshippers of "celestial beings", had begun their ceremonies. The church itself was a fine place in design, designed upon the southern outskirts of the city, where the town would end and the mountainous wall of the Dojo's solitary mountain had then begun. The exterior was that of a welcoming temple, a large tunnel, structured of smoothened wood and barred by great light green doors. Halls stretched to the left and right of the tunnel's apparent ending, as the place of worship progressively rose up, until it had reached to a four-story tall tower. Upon that tower, a celestial image formulated, of a hidden, foreign meaning - a dilated, circular image, the inside connected by weaving strands of spiraling silver as if it was a complex spiderweb. Within, the rows were filled with those whom worshipped these gods of a higher order, with a stark white pathway formulated between the seats. The people that took part were mostly dressed in black or white clothing for such an occurrence, though it was more than clear that they were the oddities of the Dojo. Mages, that hid away their dark intentions and cruel magics. Liars, thieves, murderers, and worse still, yet all here and repenting to a divine celestial creature. The side of the grand hallway were decorated with statues now - odd, almost eldritch creatures, most with many limbs, others with none at all. Some stood high and lean, some were fat and portly, and one was simply formless - an empty pedestal of where it's marble bust would be set, yet a god to these people nonetheless. Soon, the preacher of these gods would arrive. Lean and solitary, his starry black robe was coated in glistening white fragments, perhaps of glass or some other shining material. His head was crowned by a hood of the same making and material, his wrinkled forehead accompanied by a swirling golden crown that wrapped around the back of his skull. "Brothers. Sisters. Children. We gather here, upon this time, as the stars align at last. Beyond this world. Beyond the Dojo. Beyond fiendish knights and beyond petty battles. Beyond corrupt tyrants and massacres in our own home. Beyond ourselves, there is a-" *CRASH!* The preacher's mouth froze as he quit shouting to his fellow worshippers, only for his glazing blue eyes to turn to the door, alongside the eyes of the entirety of the church's residents. For the door had been shattered - no, demolished, by a single blow of something.. massive. Through the entrance came something.. remarkably disturbing, as a few of the churchgoers cried out at the sight of the newcomer to the place of warship. It was a female by the look of it, and that remarkably alluring strut that she did, like some sort of swooning cartoon character. It would drive some men into a haze of love, had she not been coated in fleshy bits and whatever was left of the poor souls who had been greeting the worshippers at the door. She was tall still, though not insanely tall yet, probably at a height of exactly six feet, no more and no less. Her choice of attire consisted more of a corset than an actual piece of functioning armor, though it.. worked. Gilded steel made up her chestplate and pauldrons, shining with a golden color and engraved with swirling images within the platings, yet also covered in thick stains of blood. Hell, it was hard to believe that it was intended for armor - her rather ample bust promptly stuck out, her chest, the smooth pale skin now coated with little bits of gore, revealed to those whom looked upon her. A gilded helmet covered her head, though the faceplate did not hide her face: chubby and almost childish, smooth and cute to some, with little dimples and light pink lips, with pearly white teeth accompanying the lips as well. What probably scared people, though, would be the almighty hammer that rested upon her right shoulder, as she balanced it with only a strong, firm hand, a shining glove holding that into place as well. The head of the mighty weapon was wider than her being in general - she was rather wide, mind you, though not bluntly fat - the ridiculous sledgehammer, coated in more gore and blood, was then gripped by two hands, landing with a booming *Thud!* as she smiled wildly then. "...hi." —————————————————
Open for socialization or for all you JUSTICE types.
When the deed was done, the hulking woman sat down in a center of the mess that she had made. The smashed bodies of the fallen would lay around her sitting being. The ground had gone from a marble white to a sickly blood red, dripping with the essence as if the place was more of a slaughterhouse than a temple. The seats were splintered into hundreds of pieces, shrines and statues of the eldritch beings crushed into the dust, amongst some of the gory paste and remains of the fallen. She hummed then, waiting on someone to.. well, come to church today, she guessed. Oh, how fun it would be.
