Who we are
The dojo is an ENTRY LEVEL AND ONE OF THE ONLY PUBLIC RP THREADS.
RP is A way of interactive creative writing. Where you can go on adventures, have fights and generally have fun. Think of dungeons and dragons, but its horribly imbalanced since there is not an experience system or dice. Its great!
The Dojo loves different opinions, ideas and writing no matter if you are new to RP(roleplay) or extremely experienced. If you have an opinion to share about how to make the dojo better, contact one of the Sensei's that run the place (We would prefer this rather then excessive and unintelligent shit talking). Every work of writing is appreciated and accepted (shitposts…maybe not so much).
How we work(list of Admins included)
The dojo is run by a group of Sensei’s. These Sensei’s will make up most of the game changing decisions to benefit The Dojo. BUT Everyone's opinion matters a great deal. So the Sensei’s will make poll’s within the group for the members to vote and decide on big issues/ideas. Even then, the sensei’s will inform the group of changes and decisions made.
The list of sensei’s are as follows:
Inflatablepants/Pants(GONE ON HIATUS)
The God-Eater/Cob
Royalblade/Royal
Fresh Cazberry/Vio
nullCth/Cth
And the leader of the dojo union: Tubbs

OUR GOAL
At the dojo, we want to provide an amazing place for you to improve on your writing in a fun way. We love new faces, and will accept you as soon as you walk up to the door. We also love other RP threads that have really awesome stuff, and we want to invite them all here so we can have a hub world of sorts. Whether this is through an interdimensional portal, space ships or whatever. We want everyone we can to be a part of this and interact with everyone! This way, you can meet people you never would have met before. If you are a leader of an RP group and are interested in this, please contact me so we can discuss further! I like discussing stuff!
https://www.bungie.net/en/Forum/Post/212678270/0/0
How to PvP
Player VS Player Is what the dojo is known for. Basically, you can fight each others characters with your own, to see who’s the best or to simply make some kick ass action. Please follow all the rules while you fight, so you can make it as badass as possible.
In order to PvP you must be tested by a sensei, or a designated tester of the dojo. You can find out who is a tester by seeing "How we Work." Also, When you fight another player make sure that you always react to their move. The best way to do this is like this.
>Have a stanza dedicated to your reaction from you opponents last reply.
>Have a stanza dedicated to your attack.
If you completely block another opponents attack, its courteous to not attack them within the same reply.
This way, you’ll never go wrong.
World Creation(Getting started at the Dojo starts here)
This is the most important section for you RP experience. This is where you make your characters, their stories, where they could live. Also, this is where you can create a Faction to participate in the thread, as well as having access to writing for the group(The stories you write do not have to relate to the dojo at all)

Haknir and Captain Edward led the crew into the jungle while the other gang members stayed back, guarding the ship. The resources of the crew were now cut off as they went deeper. It was a matter of survival now. As they journeyed into the tree line, all seemed fine. The sun still shined through the canopy well enough and the wildlife sounded amazing. However, as they ventures further, sunlight began to became more and more scarce. The birds began to chirp in a more dreadful tone. There truly was something wrong with this place. The Final Plot | Part One Kent opens his eyes, the room he is in is pitch black, cold and empty. He sits up on the hard stone floor, squinting heavily, trying to adjust his eyes in the dark. His augmentations kick in, and the room lights up as if there is no darkness at all. Kent begins to stand, using the wall behind him as support. He had been thrown in the room after discovering the location of the man he has been looking for -- Bulman Heckner. A well-known figure in the criminal community, and an even better known one to Kent; having come across him years prior on a mission for a missing woman out in the Isomeris Galaxy. They had a fight which ended in Kent tossing Bulman off of a rooftop. Kent believed that he was dead until the incident with his daughter. He begins limping towards the door, oddly it is left unlocked. He slowly pushes it open, the metal creating a loud screeching sound, “Any of you assholes here?” Kent shouts down the hall, holding his side. No response. He sighs, continuing onward towards another door. This time, the door is locked. Kent sighs again, reaching for a gun. Surprisingly, he still has them. He grabs his shotgun, unloading a single round into the door. The metal hinge breaks, leaving the door slowly ajar. Kent swings it open the rest of the way, sunlight piercing his broken visor. He proceeds out of the door, walking into an unobstructed walkway. Around him is a large drill site, an enormous hole is beneath his feet. He walks across until making it to the other side, there he finds abandoned drilling equipment and dead construction workers. “What the hell?” Kent whispers to himself, confused. He grabs one of the bodies, flipping it over, “hmm… bullet wound to his abdomen, seems the bullet went right through,” he plucks something off of the man's bullet wound. “Wire? That's… odd.” Kent rises, dropping the piece of wire onto the worker's corpse. As he nears the edge of the drilling site, Kent is met with the view of a large crater, and in the center sits a figure; his physique matching that of Kent’s in his younger years. Kent slides down the side of the crater fumbling over and rolling to the bottom. The man sitting in the center of the malformed rock stands, facing Kent, “Look at you, you're broken,” the figure says, approaching the wounded super soldier. “It's a pity you won't be leaving here.” One Week Earlier “-blam!-, -blam!-, -blam!-!” Kent shouts behind cover, “why the hell are there so many?” He looks over the cover, firing multiple rounds at the onslaught of mercenaries surrounding him. He hits multiple with precise accuracy, though missing a few others. He slumps back down, reloading. As he reaches for another magazine he finds nothing. He has no ammo, “Ah, shit,” Kent whispers to himself, “agh, plan B then.” He says hitting a switch on the side of his rifle. The bottom of the gun begins to open, and a saw blade slowly moves to the underbarrel. The blade begins to whirl loudly as Kent holds the trigger down. A mercenary leaps over the sheet of metal Kent is hiding behind, and tries to stab him in the chest. However, Kent quickly holds up his rifle, the blade and chainsaw colliding into a cascade of sparks. The saw blade is stronger than the knife, and cuts it in two, pushing past into the merc’s hand. He screams in pain as the saw cuts through his hand and arm, blood spewing from the open wound. Kent takes the stock of the gun and rams it into the attacker’s temple, knocking him out. Quickly, Kent taps the datapad on his wrist, activating an energy shield. He then leaps over his cover, pushing into the mercenaries. He swings the saw blade left and then right, cutting most of the attackers in half, some only getting sliced open at the stomach, leaving their entrails to spill out onto the floor; dying a slow death. Bullets that are fired at the super soldier bounce off the shield, ricocheting all over the large hangar. Kent grabs a mercenary by the throat, using his lightning to make the merc’s head explode. He then follows up the attack with a shockwave of electricity which completely wipes out the rest of the attackers in the area. Kent puts his rifle on his back, letting out a heavy sigh. He puts his finger to his ear, talking through the intercoms he had set up with an old friend of his, “Alright, Lycan, I need you to hurry with that pick up. I have a slight feeling that there will be a lot more coming this way,” “In a pickle right now, sir.” Lycan replies, from the sound of it he was gritting his teeth. “Fine. Do what you have to.” “Whaddya want me to do, sir?” Another voice says over the comms; Devante. “Where are you right now?” Kent asks, trying to gain access to the doors in the hangar. “Just passed the bridge. Making my way towards the mess hall right now.” “Alright, once you pass the mess hall, make a sharp right, and then head straight from there. You will come to a stairwell - go down. That will bring you to the hangar.” “On it.” Devante says, his voice quivering as he runs. Kent manages to hack into the hangar’s export power array, allowing him to open all doors for Devante and Lycan to enter. More Hevalin troops run in from the western section of the hangar. Kent grabs his rifle that oddly resembles that of a barrett, firing multiple plasma rounds into the large group of enemies. The soldiers’ bodies collapse onto the floor after each shot, leaving large holes in their chests. The Hevalin troops begin to take cover behind large metal crates and containers, firing over their heads trying to hit him. Kent puts the plasma rifle on his back, unsheathing his scimitar. As he closes his eyes, he holds the sword up to his visor, focusing on the bullets around him. In an instant, Kent teleports from the control room, to behind the soldiers. With one thrust he kills one of the armed men, and then with one flick of his wrist, he moves the sword to the right, cutting horizontally at a bullet fired by another. Effortlessly, the bullet it cut in half, splitting two different directions; killing two more soldiers behind Kent. He teleports again, shoving his sword into the jugular of another soldier. As the remaining soldiers open fire on Kent, he vanishes again, this time when he appears in the center of them all, he sends out a large shockwave; much larger than the last, ultimately killing the rest of the Hevalin troops. “Kent, they're coming!” Devante shouts, running through the east section of the hangar. In the blink of an eye Kent teleports over to him, helping Devante move one of the large crates in front of the door, “You think this'll hold?” Devante asks, catching his breathe. “Yes. But not for long.” The two ready their weapons, Kent's being a shotgun and Devante's being two chiappa rhinos. Bashing and shouting can be heard from the other side of the door, “Alright. I'm close to the hangar doors -- you open them yet?” Lycan asks over comms. “Yeah, you are clear for entering,” the soldiers behind the crate begin welding it with their plasma blades, “make it quick, they're almost inside -- I believe these are Hevalin Bourdenshé.” “Shit. Alright, I will be there in two minutes.” Kent and Devante begin moving back as the blades push more and more through the crate. Kent tells Devante to set up explosives at the entrance. He places two on either side, each filled with shards of Valmenogrium, a very thin but sharp metal Kent had found on Beku. The Bourdenshé manage to cut through the crate, pushing into the room. They brandish their swords, raising them up towards the side of their heads. They look around the hangar, scanning left and right, but Kent and Devante are gone. More troops move in behind them as they say the hangar is clear, but as they all make it through, the explosives detonate. The metal shards inside of the bombs cut through the armor of each soldier that entered the room, their limbs dismembered entirely. Some even have their heads taken off. However, though the explosives were effective, two Bourdenshe still survive the attack; metal protruding from their armor. The two slowly move around the area, one limping. Devante appears behind the wounded one, shoving his dagger into the soldier's neck. Then, Kent appears next to the other one, putting his hand on the Bourdenshe’s head, sending a mass amount of electricity throughout his armor. The soldier’s body shakes violently as he falls to the floor, blood pouring from his helmet, “Well shit,” Devante says, leaned over the body, “I really hope there ain't more.” “I hope so too,” Kent replies, putting his hand up to his ear, “Lycan, you close by?” “Yessir, comin’ in now.” Lycan flies in through the hangar doors, the ships roaring engine causing the large area to shake, the reverberation being felt in the mess hall. Lycan lands steadily onto the metallic floor, opening the hatch on the bottom. Kent and Devante enter, taking their helmets off. As the ship slowly rises, the hatch begins to close, and then Lycan quickly flies out of the large doors; the vast open universe before them.
Closed. Open to feedback.
Similar, But Not The Same The Dojo's Entrance, 1:33 PM "Woah...Ari, you...didn't tell me that the place was...well, this stylish! I mean, the walls and the design of the place are both ancient, yet-" "Isaac." "-fantastic in design, as if-" "Isaac.." "-the creators were truly-" "Isaac." A sudden snap from Arianna silenced Isaac entirely, as he immediately shut his mouth and crossed his hands together nervously. It had only been an hour since the clones of the infamous Vileblood had met - so naturally, they weren't exactly too close, although Arianna still cared for her little brother. She sighed, looking upon him with her light blue pupils, as she brushed a piece of silver-blonde hair out of her eyes. Arianna was a tall young woman, at a height of six feet and three inches in total, while her body frame remained lean yet extremely athletic at the same time. She didn't necessarily have any muscle mass, but that couldn't be seen through the dark grey apparel that she bore, which resembled an armored dress in some fashion: a visor hid away her right eye, although it's glass was deactivated at the moment, for she saw no use for it. Her nodachi remained upon her back, while a loaded Beretta pistol was holstered to her waist alongside a 22" inch long shortsword and what appeared to be a 13" inch long blade, crafted from siderite and jagged in such a disorderly, yet proficient manner. Isaac, well...he wasn't too special, at least compared to his "sister" - at five feet and eleven inches tall, the teenager stood about four inches shorter than Arianna, while his body was just as lean and skinny, almost to a degree of frailty. A buttoned black shirt encased his body, while his right sleeve was rolled up to his forearm - his entire left arm was hidden away by a pitch black armpiece, carbon fiber strands making up most of the armor while ceramic plates covered his forearm, elbow and shoulder. His black pants were slightly rolled up to his ankles in a somewhat childish fashion, while a massive bag was slung over his shoulder: it looked like it took a lot of effort to carry it, so it had to have been filled with supplies, gear, perhaps even weaponry. Isaac himself wasn't handsome, although to those in his age group, he could certainly be considered cute in some sense (goddamnit, I called a dude cute) - his facial structure was angular yet smooth to the touch, a pearly white color accompanied by two light blue eyes - the same as Arianna's. His light silver-blonde hair was short and tidy, while his eyes flickered back to the Dojo as Arianna walked up to the entrance. Arianna: "Alright...we'll have to get into this place soon. C'mon, kiddo." And just like that, Arianna knocked four times - awaiting someone to open the door for her. ((Open.))

Infinite Corp: Dead Tidings Alex, Falk and Arianna made their way past the docks and into the bustling city. The men were ragged and burly while the women were skinny and wide hipped. Bolstering and cheering filled the streets from the apparent Nordic culture that had remained true to these people for centuries. The three continued to make their way up the stone housed city, and now the large castle could be seen. It was large, and rested on the top of the hill. It had four towers which were connected by walls, which had bridges and buildings that seemed to move into a central sanctum that had the tallest tower above it. "Man. Some people just don't change the way they build things hey?" Falk commented.
for Orn
One looked older then the other with his Slavic looking gear while the other was more modern with his coat and style. They looked around on top of the building, to see the massive city of Teluria. There were skyscrapers all around them, all lit up with different coloured lights to make them a fantastic sight. There were cars speeding in the streets below and traffic moved fast without cease. Edited by Trashcan Jesus: 4/2/2017 3:35:40 AMFrom the Fatherland to the Desert to the East; to the Jungle and to the Dojo Dojo Gates, Nightfall The soldier approached the gates, intrigued by the great structure that stood before him. He'd never seen anything like in in all his forty-seven years, not in the USSR, not at El Alamein, and not in his homeland. It was an architecture he was unfamiliar with, for he had never been to the Orient, only to Rhodesia and the Congo, and African culture was far removed from that of Asia. To the more well-equipped and powerful individuals, he perhaps did not look like much, a soldier simply wearing combat fatigues and his bandoliers, a rifle on his back, the weapon a British L1A1, a pistol on his left hip, a P08 Luger, a machete on his right, and a knife in a sheath on his bandolier. He bore camouflage face paint, a jungle scheme, his pants bearing a jungle scheme as well. However, his shirt bore a rather interesting brown pea-pod design, something that looked older than the pants. He had the sleeves rolled up, his arms dirty, as if he had been in combat recently. What stood out, however, was the patch on his collar and the pin on his hat. Two Armenian runes, lightning bolts, white on a black background. The pin on his hat a silver skull and crossbones. The hair that stuck out from beneath it was a greying blonde, slicked back almost formally. He was a large man, muscular like a soldier, his eyes piercing, his face sharp and angular, showing his age and all that he had seen. Looking to the wall in amazement, he shouted, his voice carrying his German accent clearly, though he spoke in English. "Hello?
Open
Edited by Inflatablepants: 4/1/2017 8:38:20 PMBuilding up: Infinite Corp As they(you) were invited once again to castle Coldbourne, the same car drove into the round about in front of the dojo's steps for pick up. Whether it was for pay, or for adventure, they still got into the dark black Bentley that seemed to have tires meant for serious terrain. The dark black transport drove out of dojoville and up the north road, which would lead them into the Ko-Rudo mountains, where Alex Coldbourne and his new vigilante/like corporation was established. As the dry dojo mountains turned into the tall and cold Ko-rudo mountains, they couldn't help but notice the difference in the journey. The road up to the castle was significantly wider, and there was a large metal overhang of a guard which prevented snow from blowing on to the road. As the car drove up they couldn't help but notice the dozens of workers that were building this project. The car continued to make its way through the now significantly safer roads and eventually it stopped in a once crowded path which had now been cleared and terraformed to be a large plateau. Ahead of the plateau was a long stone bridge that looked as if it had been reinforced with steel. As they got out of the car they also noticed hundreds of people building around the large castle ahead. They were building homes into the sides of the mountains and large platforms that were held up with solid steel beams that would easily withstand the cold. The homes were quaint and nice, and almost looked old in design. But the tech, which involved cranes and quadcopters which were moving materials in proved that they were likely only this way for show. Coldbourne castle, just by looking at it, was significantly warmer to look at. The once frozen over and beat up castle was now completely refurbished. All of the ice was taken off and the towers colour was a beautiful grey/blue which lead up to the brown roofed towers. The large door had seemed to been replaced with a fine wood and reinforced with steel bars. There was warm light coming from the French windows that lined across sections of the main building and towers. To say the least, the place was fantastic. But, that didn't stop them from remembering why they were here. Alex had a job for them, and by looking at the area around them, they knew he could afford it.
More side quests available! Infinite corp: Bird's on the Plains The two had been flying on the plane for some time now. It was a massive, white and blue painted cargo plane that Alex had likely gotten from raids on the cartel in the shi-canyon. Instead of drugs now, however, it just had a small table and shelf stocked with a variety of weapons. Alex sat on the side opposite of Sera, Zane's daughter. Outside of some small talk, the two hadn't spoken much. But of course, alex always had to break established norms. "So!" He began as he stood up. He walked towards the table in the middle of the cargo hold and placed his hands on it. "You can summon chains to hold people down for a bit. I know that much. What else can you do?" He tapped away at it, closed the call and allowed the screen to fade to black as he walked through the courtyard. He had a coffee in hand from the local Starbucks who managed to misspell a two-letter name. They wrote "JayTea" for some reason, damn hipsters. The Marshal had only bore a few of his firearms on him, only his old T-29 Quantum revolvers and his shotgun, Triple Tap, as well as the Champions Rifle. "I have to do this Matt, if we don't everything we have at risk." "Fair enough." Victoria carved a symbol on the frame of the mirror, corresponding with the one on her arm (the other one). She held up her hand and touched the mirror, a flash of pain sent through her mind. But then, everything slowed, and she saw images flash in her mind. She saw a man dressed in white, holding a golden energy. She saw a man in ancient armor, holding a sword that pulsed with an energy unknown. She saw a burning city, and a man on his knees. The armored man flicking people aside like flies and tearing them apart with shadows. Bullets flew and they turned to dust around him. So much power, so little effort... ...and Victoria fell to the ground, unconscious. "Victoria!"
Open for short build up.
Dragons at play serenity was watching the skies above the cave as her four kids were in their dragon forms flying through the skies playfully chasing one another. They werent as big as a full grown dragon yet but they were getting there all three of them except syrilth because she was half the size of her brothers and sister. All four them were different colors so it was pretty easy to them apart. Venia was solid purple and jura was pure white. Sivath was red with a black underbelly and syrilth was purple but had the same colored belly. Serenity watches them play for was seems like a couple minutes but its more like a few hours. She seemed very happy as she watched them play knowing that sooner or later they would grow even bigger than they are now as she sat on the grass looking up sketching on a notepad generally at peace for the moment. She had her guard lowered as she was focused on them.
open for whatever just no attacking her kids
A Return of a Rather Unwanted Individual Dojo Gates 9:30 AM A man clad in a leather jacket, red T-shirt, blue jeans, and combat boots sat down next to the gates, sighing On his back, was a katana, sheathed in a cobalt blue sheath, flames of the same color emanating from what little blade could be seen. On his hip, was a revolver rigged with circuitry and electronics, gunmetal grey and dirty. His hair was a dull white, though his eyes retained a deep piercing blue as they peered at anyone passing by ((open))

Getting a leg up "Damn it." Falk said as his alarm went off. He immediately jolted out of bed and pressed the off button on the annoying noise maker as he rubbed his eyes to wipe the sleep out. He tried to get up, but he winced in pain and fell down. Even after months of having a bum leg he still forgot to grab his cane for a support. Luckily, this would be the last time he would have to worry about that. He grabbed his cane and used it to help himself up out of bed. After getting ready, he made his way down the two mile trek to the dojo. He arrived at the gates, eventually. Where he greeted Tesuto. Then, he walked towards the L.I.M.B clinic. He entered the clinic, and took a look around. "Hey?! Anyone in?" He asked.
for JT!
Edited by A Stormy Dio: 3/27/2017 1:30:03 PM"Out of Nowhere...Literally." Caw. Caw. That was the sound of a bird, as it flies above the Dojo's Woods. It had been flying there for quite a bit, watching for predators, or prey. And it had found it, in the form of a worn down on the ground, which it proceeded to swoop down and nibble on, to the point where the poor inferior worm had died. It looked around for anymore, and proceeded to go after several more worms, until the first worm's brethren had also been swallowed. The bird stood triumphantly over the corpses of the worms, the pigeon being similiar to the bald eagle in its pose. But we aren't here to talk about that bird, aren't we? Because said bird proceeded to die from a gunshot nearby. That gunshot was from a 19-year old Aussie who was damn paranoid. He held a Luger PO8 pistol in his hands, which was smoking from the gunshot that had just been fired. He had on similar to that of a WW1 Australian soldier, who had started to pant. "Where in all of the Queen's men and kings am I? France? Germany?" The Australian simply had responded to himself, beginning to hyperventilate from being in a new environment.
Open. The picture isn't what he looks like body-wise, but to get a sense of what he's wearing. Also, character intro.
just a lazy day. nanos had been dozing in the shadows of a tree on this fine sunny day. He was slumbering quite peacefully he didn't know someone was sneaking up on him. But in truth it was arvira sneaking up on him curious about how he had wings. She got closer to him as he peacefully dozed until that is when the girl grabs a good fistful of nanos feathers a gives a hard yank. He wakes with very loud yelp flapping his largesl wings in surprise. "OW...." he looks to see who pulled his feathers. Very angry and cross not to mention missing several handfuls of feathers. He turns and sees arvira standing there her hands behind her back with a look of guilt as she hides his plucked feathers. "Why would you pull on my wings that hurts really bad you know"snaps nanos "I...i"she says she looks down at her feet sniffed clearly fighting back tears as he scolds her for pulling out his feathers. It wasn't long before he had her crying and feeling bad. Which makes him look like a dick for yelling at a little girl.
open
Infinite Corp: Home-front Cannon made his way down the secret passage Alex had just shown him. Alex was still above, and hadn't made his way down the ladder yet as Cannon started to do so. After a moment, the trap door began to close. Alex quickly hopped in before it closed completely, which left Cannon and Alex in darkness as they were hanging on the ladder. "Hold up." Alex said as he took a black stick from his pocket. He pressed the back, and a light shone out from the front of the flashlight. "I'm assuming you got some lights on that helmet of yours right Can?" He asked Cannon with a hushed voice.
