The rules and reforms are still vague and have room for exceptions and inconsistencies upon a lieutenant or Mod's whim. Same ol' dojo without the "digital".

Why criticize when you could help?
-
Criticism is good for accountability. The dojo had a really good idea going for it, but unfortunately was squandered by immaturity. If fighting in the dojo is akin to mind chess, people need to either admit being outplayed or step up their game and think outside the box. Victory doesn't always have to be accomplished through entertainment. Victory shouldn't be guaranteed by entitlement. It must be earned and challenging to attain (unless you're going easy on the opponent of course). That's what I entered the previous dojo for: to exercise imagination of certain characters and understand the various strengths and weakness of different abilities. Not some bland dragonball z trading attacks back and forth fighting (the only awesome tactic that comes to mind of that series was Goku's Warp Kamehameha). Jason Bourne had more realistic fighting depiction of each opponent countering until it came down to making a minor mistake. Either method of fighting is fine, and I'd be down for both, but people shouldn't ban or kill others because they're losing or getting frustrated (which is what happened to me, (by a lieutenant with ninja or mortar in their name) and it was really a let down from the potential I saw in the place). God-moding is understandably frowned upon. But what equally should be frowned upon is the God-complex some of the lieutenants seemed to have developed. Also, some of the abilities I've given my characters placed me upon grounds of being banned/killed, even though I merely asked if I could use them or simply even just having those abilities (even though I chose not to use them for the sake of fairness within duels). TL;DR the dojo demonstrated a lack of discernment, patience, and discipline. All traits that are integral to an effective dojo.

Yeah... We're trying to start over, and the thing about this thread is that it's more apt to change now that there is a different leader, a new OP
Yeah... We're trying to start over, and the thing about this thread is that it's more apt to change now that there is a different leader, a new OP
So far it seems just as faulty as before.

So far, yeah. But that's because the lieutenants are the same and they generate the same ideas as before

Somebody's still butt hurt

The dojo didn't fall apart. We restarted it because we realized how broke it was
The dojo didn't fall apart. We restarted it because we realized how broke it was
And you're a prime example of how it still is lol thank you for validating my point.

Anytime bud!

So you're not willing to be accountable for your contribution to its failure?

You said thanks. I replied with "You're welcome" Simple as that
You said thanks. I replied with "You're welcome" Simple as that
Nope. There's more to it than that. You said it with an air of mockery and disrespect, which you can deny all you want, but we both know is true.

Hey man. Whatever floats your boat
Hey man. Whatever floats your boat
Ah, you don't deny it.

Nor do I accept it
Nor do I accept it
But if you were willing to admit it, you would have had the character to do so. However, since you initially started your conversation with me as condescending, and to spite me by attempting to be vague, and since you weren't willing to admit to it, and to hide your shame of already demonstrating your immaturity and lack of integrity despite being so newly deemed an official tester, you don't deny it. You exemplify how the dojo is already starting with an unstable foundation.
