A person steals, robs, burns a house, harms or murders another human being or beings. They are arrested, charged and processed, sent to court then either fined for a petty crime or sentenced to prison depending on the crime. If there are sentenced to prison, they are being "rehabilitated". Then when their time is up or if they didn't go to prison and pay off the fine. They are released into society again. Either they learned their lesson and they want to straighten up in the world or continue committing crimes. Cause after criminals or ex-criminals are released back into the world, their life is now even more difficult.. Nobody wants to hire an ex-con, they have to stay in the country, constantly monitored, they probably lost their old good job now how to settle for a crappy job. Everybody in the area that live within a radius of ex-cons are usually notified. After prison, life is even more difficult.. It's up to them on wether or not to take the difficult long way through life. Or Go back to breaking the law because they can't cope with life and take the easy way out by ruining other people's life to benefit themselves. Personal opinion on this subject Why does the government release these criminals back to the world? The justice system is fair, whether you believe it or not. The world isn't black & white, there's no good and evil. There are those people who get away with it and those who don't. A person is a person regardless of the crime, the justice system is fair and unbiased. If you have a problem with it.. Move to another country, otherwise you live in a country with its own set of laws and regulations. If a person takes a person's life the government "rehabilitates" them or put them away in a cell forever. However executing them depending on the country and crime, in this modern era the death penalty is no longer a viable option. The government does not play God, taking another person's life isn't their responsibility or duty. I got the idea from this post: https://www.bungie.net/en/Forum/Post/212557114/0/0

 • The idea of rehabilitation doesn't actually exist. It's all about punishment. Probation classes and things of that nature definitely can have a positive impact on Rehabilitation but prison is all about the punishment. This whole lifelong discrimination thing that we have going on if you get in trouble for practically anything is definitely not good for society. Like you say if someone breaks the law once and then you treat them even worse and don't let them work to achieve a good job what do you expect them to do. Part of the problem with this is corporations see people as Expendable assets. You're not really people. If it were legal they would discriminate against the overweight. People with health problems. Pretty much anything. I think the whole way this needs to be addressed with background checks is on a tiered system. If your grade school teacher you better have a perfect record and you better have your act together. A lot of other jobs. It really doesn't matter if you have a record or not. Even working at a bank. What are you going to steal? There are 20 cameras on you at all times. How about working at Intel? If you have the training and education what the hell does it matter about that stunt you did in college? The reason corporations do this is because they can
