A Fitting Arrival
Gates of the Dojo.
Outside the gates of the Dojo, an anomaly occurs. Something definitely not new to the realm, but interesting all the same. The air seemed to split open, a rip in time and space revealing a swirling purple and black void, and out steps a new arrival.
The man was tall, standing at about 6'2", clad in slim fitting black armor that was almost assassin in nature and made of a sleek, glossy black metal. On the man's face, an Oni demon mask made of a twisted and contorted black metal with sprouting black horns.
At the man's hip, three katanas were bound to his side by a black silk ribbon. The first was a brilliant and shining white and gold, the white ribbons and sheathe utterly flawless. Quite the contrast to the man's dark attire.
The second sword was more at home, a complete and utter black. No, black would imply color. This sword was the complete embodiment and depiction of pure shadow.
The third and final katana was rather drab compared to its brothers. An olive green, but an interesting thing was the pommel was in the shape of an oriental dragon head.
This new arrival walked towards the gates, his very stride foreshadowing an untold amount of capability. Like his form was only a vessel for unrestricted power and dominion.
He reached the gates, and simply leaned a shoulder on them and awaited an arrival. After all, he was sure someone had seen him drop in.
open to JT for testing, and anyone else who wants to say hello.
The colossal gates to the Dojo burst open with a swift kick, sending a gust of wind flying to the Ronin. JT stepped out of the courtyard beyond the gates, B2, and looked to Lance. He looked furious and immensely pissed as he grabbed Triple Tap from his back, and three of his lead 12 gauge rounds were loaded into the gun. "The -blam!- are you here for, Lance?"
-
The courtyard is A2 not B2
-
"Ya know, I don't quite know actually. Didn't your momma teach you it's impolite to point?" Lance says with a smirk under the mask, gesturing towards his shotgun.
-
"Lance my -blam!-ing daughter just got shot, I am in NO mood to deal with sarcasm. So I take it you're here to join up?"
-
Lance paused and thought for a second, shrugging his shoulders. "I have nothing better to do."
-
"Then get ready to fight for entry." JT coldly said to Lance as his left arm shifted and contorted to form one massive drill, letting JT use his shotgun in his right hand exclusively.
-
"Ah, the arm the Unborn gave you. Guess I wasn't the only one with a parting gift from them." Lance says with a grin in his tone, unsheathing the white and gold katana from his hip, Savior. "Your move Cowboy."
-
JT didn't speak, nor did he pull the trigger of his gun, rather there was a glint of light in his eyes, much like the glint one would see from a sniper scope in the distance. Lance's body glowed a bright red shade in JT's HuD as he automatically raised his gun to the Ronin. TagSight.exe was active.
-
"Aww come on JT. You have a shotgun, you don't need aimbot." Lance says with a laugh, his figure blurring as he practically flew towards JT, his katana coming up from the ground to strike upwards at JT.
-
The katana was met by JT's foot stomping down on it mid swing, and the springs in the leg only furthered the recoil given. JT followed up with a counter-attack of his own, where he jammed the Drill into Lance's solar plexus. "Anyone from the cult dedicated to a Dojo Lieutenant deserves to be met with precaution. And I know you, fighting won't be easy.
-
"You're a lieutenant? I'm so proud of you JT." He said with a grin under his mask, the drill meeting his armored chest and sending bits of metal and carbon fiber flying, but not quite breaking through. The armor was Venom Incorporated, and if JT had the time to hold the drill there, he might have been able to pierce it. But Lance wasn't gonna let that happen. Jerking the sword out from under JT's boot, Lance batted the drill to the side savagely and sent a horizontal slash at JT's face.
-
The thing about JT is that he was a true jack of all trades. So he spun around with the drill as Lance his it to the side, ducked under the swing, and rammed the blade back into Lance's torso, same location. JT was a better fighter than he had been back in Cedyetica, truly.
-
The high powered drill dug definitely deeper into the metal, but it was made of ceramic, a titanium alloy, and a carbon fiber mesh. It wasn't paper, that's for sure. Lance grinned and jumped backwards, slashing Savior three times through the air and sending hardlight energy cuts flying towards JT.
-
JT was truly at an advantage now that he had some distance from Lance. He dodged the first two hits of hard light with ease but the third nicked his leg and cut off part of his foot and knee on the left leg, though a swarm of nanites flew to the limb from the duster and repaired his losses. JT locked onto Lance with Tag Sight, pressed the second trigger, and a trio of uranium bullets the size of a twelve gauge shell, coated in lead flew from all three if his guns barrels, directly for Lance.
-
With a vertical swipe across his body with Savior, a wall of hardlight blocked the bullets and shattered the wall in a shimmering show of light. Reaching behind him, Lance pulled something JT had never seen in his hands, a gun. Specifically, a .500 Magnum that was sending a round straight for JT.
-
JT had a good idea of just how powerful the .500 Magnum shot would be - He was a cowboy after all, and Revolvers are what they knew. In a flash a wall of nanites seeped from hid chest and formed a wall faster than Trump, which in turn stopped the bullet. Holstering his shotgun, a pair of T-29 Quantum revolvers formed in JT's hands as they came from his skin.
-
Lance fired the remaining five shots at JT, curiously making the gun vanish into thin air.
-
With that JT knew he was probably fighting a top tier magician, but either way only one shot pierced his wall and hit JT in the right shoulder, rendering the grappling arm augment useless. The wall dispersed and became armour again as JT fired three rounds from either gun at Lance, the .44 rounds flying through the air.
-
Lance smirked under his mask, raising his free hand out in front of him. "Pinpoint." He muttered, an explosion of shadow erupting from his hand and becoming solid, sending six tendrils out from it, knocking the bullets out of the air and continued to fly towards JT, the ends sharpened to a wicked point. It seemed Lance had also gained a few new tricks.
-
If you got a few aces up the sleeve, it was best to use them. JT knew it well, and the trick he learned from General Treyman wad going to be his ace. "Lok... Tinvaak... Urum..." JT mumbled as he narrowly avoided the tendrils and even swatted one away, before a tendril slammed into his chest. Soon after, Lance started to feel the essence of whatever magic he may possess leave his body as an aura of purple seeped out, dispersing into nothingness. It was a magic drain ability, something JT was truly fond of at times. Though one tendril did leave a gaping hole in his body.
-
Lance grinned, the shadows still pouring from his hand as JT attempted to cancel his seals. "It's not magic JT. They're seals, I don't draw on some outside force like Alonfé or any other Mage. They're boundaries within my body that I learned how to break open, and therefore use them. The only way to cancel them is to sever the limb using it, or kill me. Impale." He muttered, With that, a ball of shadow coalesced in the center of Lance's stomach, detaching and floating above his head. It began to elongate, pure darkness forming into a three pronged staff... A trident. The barbed, triple pronged weapon had small tendrils coming off the shaft and seemed to leech the color out of the air and the trees around it. Until indeed, the air and the color from the immediate environment was gone, turned to black and white and sucked into the trident above Lance's head. The trident pulsed with darkness and power, seemingly awaiting Lance's command. "You don't wanna see what this thing can do JT." Lance said, raising a hand and was ready to send the trident forth.
-
And so, JT's skin began not to shift and contort, but to expand. A horrible tearing sound was heard as the figure hunched himself and both flesh and metal bonded together, creating a much taller JT, one that stood at twenty six feet tall roughly. His augmentations grew and his guns came with. Typical JT, he strived to always one-up his opponents, though he never really could do it in a true form, as this made him immensely slower.
-
With a flick of his wrist, the trident flew upwards at JT's chest, sucking the color from every surrounding object and living thing, growing in size as it did so, until it was easily fifteen feet around and twenty feet long. The black energy pulsated and seemed to spew hatred and dark energies as it flew towards JT's chest.
-
The Marshal took the trident to the chest with a series of loud cracks as the armour broke apart on impact. He took the trident hit and fell onto the ground at the hands of perhaps the edgiest weapon he had ever seen, and the Dojo in the background shook. JT shrunk back to his original size as he lay there, even more pissed off than before. It didn't help that he was a Lieutenant that was beaten by a newcomer, but he truly understood that Lance was a superior combatant. "Go inside..." JT barely managed to stammer out as he stared to the grey skies and the looming clouds overhead. A light rain started to trickle down as he stood from the ground, numerous grunts and groans accompanying his aching body. When the finally defeated cowboy stood from the ground he turned to face the Dojo Courtyard beyond. "...And go to hell." The Marshal weakly let out, before he went inside the Dojo walls. ((Congrats, you can PvP here))
"edgiest weapon he'd ever seen." You never fail to make me laugh JT XD
