It's time to lift the exotic weapon limit!

Exotics once were a force to be a reckoned with. They were obviously the best primary weapons in the PvP metagame, for quite some time. But since day 1 a lot of things have changed, and what once was a force to be reckoned with, is just a lifeless shadow of its former self. When was the last time someone wrecked with a Mythoclast/Suros/Red Death/Hawkmoon/Bad Juju etc etc? When was the last time you played with an exotic and told yourself: "Damn, that's an effing nice weapon"? Those 2 things happened such a long time ago, that I don't even know when it happened anymore. Every legendary with a good (not even god. At god it just gets ridiculous how bad exotics truly are) roll outclasses 9/10 exotics, with the exception of TLW. Currently one of the only weapons which feel exotic in the PvP. It's not even funny how much better a max range Eyesluna is, compared to the Hawkmoon, or how much better any fast firing PR performs compared to a Red Death, as long as it comes with the perk "Life Support". The best AR since the release of TTK has been the Doctrine. A legendary bullet hose. A point could be made about the Necrochasm being better before Bungie nerfed aggressive ballistics (which was a huge nerf to exotics as a whole), but that's sadly a Y1 weapon most people will never get. Since exotic weapons are worse than legendaries nowadays, it is time to lift the exotic limit. Such a mechanic makes no sense, given the current performance of the exotic weaponry.
