The man, elderly and balding, turns to her and replies between spoonfuls of food.
"Hello. Care to introduce yourself? My name is... I forgot again. I used to own an estate here before it was blown to bits by a tank shell."

Oh, my name's Jenna. Where are you from originally? I don't think many people here are native
-
"I'm a native. The guitarist over there doesn't seem like he's from here. In fact I've never heard an accent like his in my lifetime." The man stops eating and begins drinking the pristine water from the water bottle.
-
Eh, sounds Russian. Though, those wolf people, I have no idea where they are from. They have a strange accent that I've never heard, they are bipedal wolves... Etc, etc, you know who I'm talking about

Dimitry finishes his song and sets the guitar aside. "Since all of you have shared very interesting stories I might as well share mine. To make it even more interesting it's also real story so sit back, relax, and let your mind drift off if you want to, I don't mind."

*Jenna turns her attention towards him as he begins his story, letting the smell and sound of burning oak wood calm her down a little more*

"It was a normal day back in Russia. I was making my way out of metro system with this gas mask on and rifle in hand. As usual I encountered the same broken city with the same skyline. It was all going as usual. This is the boring part so I'll skip over it. Eventually I saw small ripples in the air on my way back home, I must've gotten turned around because I never encountered them on my way out. So I threw the nearest rock at it which just flew back at me. So I keep going, throwing pieces of small rubble at the ripples until I got to the end, or so I thought. I heard a creaking behind me so I turned around and what do I see? I see a floating car! A taxi nontheless. Seconds later it flew towards me and missed. I didn't even have to move, it just missed. I laughed it off, walked home, and told my story to the bar keep and the intoxicated visitors. Of course, I was a little intoxicated myself. And that is the story of how I had a run in with an anomaly that tried to kill me with a car." He laughs at how ridiculous the story is despite it being true.
-
That's weird. *Jenna laughs slightly as she looks around at everything, everyone, listening in*

Edited by Rimidalv Nisom: 9/13/2016 3:15:46 PM"I know it's weird. There are others like me who have told me similar stories. But we all joke about it in the end. No sense in crying when you're having fun which we all are." He picks up the guitar and casually plays a few notes at random.
-
Yeah, the only flying thing that I was almost killed by was my own drone. *She points to a large 2 foot wide octocopter drone on her back* Don't get too close to it's blades
-
"I don't think I've seen one of those before. I might've seen a broken one but they usually only have 4 rotors." He sets the guitar aside yet again and begins humming a song that sounds vaguely Russian.
-
Yeah, I made this myself. It's pretty awesome. Like, if one of the motors break midair the two next to it speed up to counter it. It has a 1080 pixel gyroscopic optical zoom camera
-
"I'm not much of an engineer. If anything I'm decent with firearms and I have a bit of knowledge of close quarters combat." He places his hands near the fire to warm them.
-
If you like firearms this thing has two pistols on it's sides to fire at enemies
-
Edited by Rimidalv Nisom: 9/13/2016 7:53:38 PM"That's pretty impressive." He takes his own pistol, a Cz-52, out of its holster and takes the magazine out of the gun before showing it to her "This thing has served me well. It's pretty good in tight spaces and when you need a free hand to hold a flashing or a lighter."
-
Impressive. I've never been good with guns, I had a friend, Lincoln, who did that stuff for me
-
"Can you tell me about the surrounding area? Are there any rare items that sell high around here?" He begins cleaning the pistol of dirt, snow, and any melted snow.
-
I'm sorry guys. I dunno
-
"It's alright. Now how about I set up a little donation bucket so we can start rebuilding this place? We'll accept Roubles and... Whatever has monetary value here. I might even set up a shop where all purchases go towards rebuilding the place."
-
Well, we really have any type of money, so you're probably good
-
"Well, I've got to get going. Perhaps I can find some rare materials wherever we are so I can make that endeavor reality." Eventually everyone finishes their meal, Dimitry sets up a charity bucket, and eventually leaves, the homeless seem pleased with his actions and continue to keep the fire lit and keep the air filled with the sound of music.
End.
