I overthink things, I even thought 2012 (supposed end of the world) was gonna happen, I was in 6th grade at the time. Today, I still overthink things, but not as intense or bad a before

My b day is December 21sr,good thing it didn't end then

Quality over quantity. If you actually thought the world was going to end, please reconsider your cognitive processes.
-
What does quality have to do with a potential apocalypse?
-
Any amount of critical thinking skills would tell you it would not happen, especially by predictions from an ancient, inferior civilization. The only "end time" scare that made sense was back in 2000 because we were afraid the computers would shut down, causing reactors to malfunction, nukes to explode, etc. It was a logical fear. But really no one on here is old enough to remember that.

Yeah I get that, and I thought Y2K was bollocks too. More myth than substance. Is that what you meant? The quality of the Mayan calendar myth was just poor?
-
No, I meant to quality of thinking behind believing it. At least with Y2K, there were scientists who said they had no idea what would happen. It was troubling.
-
I was in 6th grade, I don't think like that anymore, I'm a sophomore now Sooo yah...
-
It was just an example based off what you said. My point was thinking deeply about facts and reality is a good thing, just make sure it is quality thinking. But as you are in high school still, it isn't a major issue yet.
