I cringe when I see posts like this. Complaining about complainers is the lowest form of complaint. And then saying completely ignorant things like "this game is pretty old and 2 years is a long time server-wise". No.... Just no. You clearly have no idea what you're talking about. There are 10+ year old games with millions of players (World of Warcraft). You think they don't upgrade servers? Destiny has had millions of players over the course of the past 2 years. They've had to upgrade the servers as the number of registered users increases as well as the amount of content in the game. They've gotta put all that data somewhere. When the game goes completely offline for several hours, which is fairly rare but it has happened a few times, that means they're doing some sort of serious server maintenance or upgrade.

  • Technology wise it is, ass clown. The game is being held back by last gen and that's why you don't have your severs that you want so badly.

Another clueless kid. You also obviously don't know how servers work.
This kid thinks servers can't be upgraded, what an "assclown".
• Please do inform me about what you know on servers; because apparently everyone is a fucking technician on these forums.

  • You don't have to be a technician to know that dedicated servers can easily be added. PC games have dedicated servers added and removed all the time. Plus games have been having dedicated servers for years before Destiny came out, so its not like it wasn't around when Destiny came out and is a thing now. Dedicated servers have been around and Bungie knew the game could use them because Bungie made games with dedicated servers. Activision was just too cheap to dedicate capital towards dedicated servers.

Actually it's what I do for a living, so at least you've got one thing right today. But you don't have to work on networks or servers to know that they can be upgraded. It's a simple concept really, try to wrap your head around it.
I love how the OP has no response when he finds I'm right.
• Ahh yes just trolling, proceed my son.
The Gutenberg Bible (also known as the 42-line Bible, the Mazarin Bible or the B42) was the first major book printed using mass-produced movable type. It marked the start of the "Gutenberg Revolution" and the age of the printed book in the West. Widely praised for its high aesthetic and artistic qualities,[1] the book has an iconic status. Written in Latin, the Catholic Gutenberg Bible is an edition of the Vulgate, printed by Johannes Gutenberg, in Mainz, in present-day Germany, in the 1450s. Since its publication, 49 copies (or substantial portions of copies) have survived, and they are considered to be among the most valuable books in the world even though no complete copy has been sold since 1978.[2][3] The 36-line Bible, believed to be the second printed version of the Bible, is also sometimes referred to as a Gutenberg Bible, but is possibly the work of another printer.
• I see you feel the need to continue... keep at it my son
The Count of Monte Cristo (French: Le Comte de Monte-Cristo) is an adventure novel by French author Alexandre Dumas (père) completed in 1844. It is one of the author's most popular works, along with The Three Musketeers. Like many of his novels, it is expanded from plot outlines suggested by his collaborating ghostwriter Auguste Maquet.[1] The story takes place in France, Italy, and islands in the Mediterranean during the historical events of 1815–1839: the era of the Bourbon Restoration through the reign of Louis-Philippe of France. It begins just before the Hundred Days period (when Napoleon returned to power after his exile). The historical setting is a fundamental element of the book, an adventure story primarily concerned with themes of hope, justice, vengeance, mercy, and forgiveness. It centres around a man who is wrongfully imprisoned, escapes from jail, acquires a fortune, and sets about getting revenge on those responsible for his imprisonment. However, his plans have devastating consequences for the innocent as well as the guilty. In addition, it is a story that involves romance, loyalty, betrayal, and selfishness, shown throughout the story as characters slowly reveal their true inner nature. The book is considered a literary classic today. According to Luc Sante, "The Count of Monte Cristo has become a fixture of Western civilization's literature, as inescapable and immediately identifiable as Mickey Mouse, Noah's flood, and the story of Little Red Riding Hood."[2]
