But the narrator is rasputin, "I bear an old name", the same way he describes himself in the mystery card. And uses the term "little platform" to describe the person he is speaking too. He says to the platform: "You stand here now and now and now many times and here I am a wonder, all a wonder, how you manage it. How do you step forward. How do you step back. Do you step ACROSS. Is there a world of worlds, a web, and you are spider upon it." So the platform he is speaking to, he is asking about how it travels through time. The only mechanical time traveler in grimoire is the exo stranger. But without it literally saying rasputin is talking to the stranger, we have to infer
