You know that saying "there's never a cop around when you need one?" There was one around when I needed him. It was after work rush hour on the freeway. Some guy in a Mercedes cut me off and almost hit my front end. I honked. He flipped me off. I shrugged. He must have had a bad day and was going to take it out on me. He got out of his car and came at me with clenched fists and a red face. "Oh, shit," as I'm rolling up my window. I forgot my door was unlocked. He was opening the door to my car as I heard a voice over a loudspeaker say, "sir, get back in your vehicle." Oh thank god there was a cop in another lane that saw the whole thing.
