There are three key guidelines that should be considered when it comes to rumours:
The first is: Truth
Are these rumours true?
The second is: Ethics
Are the rumours or information righteous or positive?
The third is: Worth
Is this rumour or information useful or necessary?
Conclusion:
The rumours aren't true, the rumours aren't good or positive and finally it's not useful or necessary aswell as its not helpful information.
Rumours are rumours, they're not always true.
It's ignorant to believe these rumours without real and truthful knowledge on a subject.
