How do you trade them and what happens if you get them all?

You trade infection by picking up the infected orbs of a guardian who got a super kill. If you get them all, then you would be rolling in the rep.

I didn't get mine off orbs I got mine of killing a friend in his super in a private match

it can be spread in pve by picking up orbs from the infected's supers also
