Ok so i have this theory. They keep talking about quarantining all the affected guardians. But i mean come on. Guardians arent gonna stay in a hospital under quarantine for weeks. Maybe months who knows. But but but. Whats coming??? Thats right. The plague lands. And oh, a new public space. Were going to be forced to spend time out in the new public area by being "banned" from the city to protect the civilians from the virus.
Also someone stop me if im wrong but i almost think only preorders are contracting it.

Wrong, one clan member of ours contracted it and he hasnt pre ordered :) so its taken king - rise of iron at least for now.

I don't have ROI downloaded yet and I still got techno virus brilliance and splendor so did my two friends. I'm assuming this is more or less an updated version of our flaming skull from yr1 accept Bungie managed to implement this "Virus" somehow into the ROI story by coming up with this OWL's event page on twitter which is also probably linked with the whole we link our twitter accounts to their page concept. Yet, that's my theory on the subject not sure if it is or isn't time will tell.

I was wondering why people had those things buzzing around their heads. I was under the assumption that Nightfall-completion indicators had made a return with a different look.

But also if you read closely on owlsector.bungie.net, Ikora states that this infection has brought with it an armor systems override. I just played a few crucible matches and was noticing how easy it is to kill Guardians with the infection, and also how easy it is to die. The infection is bad and good. Lowers armor systems, but gains rep and xp boosts.

i don't think it has anything to do with preorders because people can pre order at gamestop and it wouldn't link to their account until they got it on day of release
