Ok so this game has gone through way too many nerfs and honestly it needs to stop. We used to feel powerful and actually enjoy having diverse and fun abilities that set each class and subclass apart from the rest, but now the nerfs have brought us "in line" with each other. The truth is that this is the problem with nerfs, we are supposed to have amazing and powerful abilities that benefit different play styles, that is the beauty in this game! My proposal is simply to start with rebuffing these abilities and find a better solution to provide counters rather than destroying the most fun, entertaining, and unique abilities this game has to offer. 1. Viking funeral: sunsingers just aren't the same anymore, just because something is "frustrating" does not warrant it's destruction, please you have stats to prove it was not overpowered just restore it to its former glory. 2. Shadestep/twilight garrison: these had no effect on actual damage, they simply provided unique and skillful maneuvers that provided fun and diverse engagements, please restore them to their prime. 3. Shoulder charge: same as viking funeral, it was never overpowered just "frustrating" this is no reason to ruin an amazing and unique ability. In its current state it is nearly useless, the nerf hammer always swings with relentless furry and this is sadly no exception. Please restore it's unique and useful function. 4. Throwing knife/tripmine: these were never a huge problem. Throwing knife rewarded accurate and skillful players and deserves to be a skillful tool of destruction. Tripmine was the same, just a useful and unique option that allowed for a different play style. These are the abilities that come to mind when we think about fun and powerful guardians, we shouldn't be asking for their destruction, rather we should ask for the alignment of weaker abilities to compensate. I can think of no better way to balance this game than to increase the effectiveness of subpar abilities such as solar wind. All I ask is that we stop fighting for our own destruction, and start fighting for a restoration in our power! We are all on the same team here and we all want the same goal, to be a part of the greatest game possible so let's come together and make the changes that we truly need!
