Is the mida to much let's discuss
Compare it to other scouts and have a valid opinion
Keep up the comments there's some great ones
Loving the comments a 50/50 on nerf it and keep it I just don't like it having such a big clip lol
Well this is escalating very quickly lot of great comments from year one guardians here's hoping we get a cool new primary

Furthermore Bungie has stated that it is, in fact, the most balanced weapon in the game in terms of handling and time to kill. Stop complaining about it, please.

Yeah shooting 5 feet over someone's head and still getting crits while also getting two speed perks at no cost or drawback what so ever yeah that's totally fine... Says the guy who is in a burning building... These are the same people that said "oh tlw criting for 111 is fine" or "two shot people with thorn and them burning out is fine" Mida is op and a complete scrub gun... Take off the speed perks give it battle runner and take off 3rd eye and give it relentless tracker...

My dis-47 is so much better, fires faster, full auto, Max stability, and 5 shot headshots.

The MIDA is fine. Most other primary weapons getting the crap nerfed out of them is not fine.

The MIDA is perfectly fine. Nobody gave 2 shits about it until they turned the rest of the weapons into nerf guns. Hell the gun never recieved any buffs other than giving it HCR long, long ago to give people a reason to use it however after the rest of the weapon types were nerfed suddenly everyone flocked to the "OMG MIDA IS SO OP!!" bandwagon.

1 ReplyIn yr 1 Mida was an overlooked weapon. It was very alternative. A good gun in the right hands but nothing about it was game breaking. We get to yr 2, and it was one of the first few weapons brought forward from yr 1 after the initial launch of TTK. And all of a sudden it blew up big time! Everyone was using it and it was doing really well in PVP. Why is this you ask? Surely it must have been buffed from the yr 1 version?! Nope. In fact it got a nerf to the secret high impact perk it had, and other than that hasn't been touched by Bungie. The problem was that all the other primary choices had been nerfed to oblivion, so now the jack of all master of none had gone to the top while standing still! So in short, no MIDA is not OP, but it was the last decent choice left for a while. Hopefully that will change soon with other guns being discovered, and they will take over as Meta leader without Mida having to be nerfed atal.

Nah, it's reasonably priced compared to other exotics. I think maybe 150 marks off of the kiosk first time is a little pricey but it is what it is.

1 Reply90% of those asking for a Mida Nerf have a negative k/d and a few thousand Mida kills. If it's so OP then why aren't their stats better? Last time I checked the user made the gun, not the other way around. This is old news.....

is it used alot? yes. Its only used due to the sniper epidemic. Now that sniper flinch is through the roof, I think more primary weapons will be viable in crucible. I;m having great fun with the NM vendor auto rifle on a gunslinger.

Mida is situational depending on map and can be countered very easily with lots of other primaries. It's a solid gun with good perks but hardly a kill switch.

1 ReplyMIDA is nice but I still find myself using the DIS-47 way more often. MIDA is a good counter sniper gun, but as an all around primary, it lacks the right feel for me. MHO.
