Eyeing the pistol silently, Anri turned her attention to the figure, speaking up loudly so that she could be heard easily. If she was to be shot, she could drop Violet and then just tank the bullet. Still, it would hurt like hell.
"My friend here claimed to be a tourist? And...she said she protected the village. From bandits from the south. Can you provide shelter? Anything? She's...well, been trekking through here for a while..."

The man looked at Violet, then back at Anri. He sighed, and nodded, turning around. He motioned for Anri to follow. He trudged through the snow and blizzard, hunching slightly. There was a small limp in his left leg.
-
Anri sighed, somewhat relived though still rather nervous. She silently followed, only looking slightly at the man's leg before deriving her attention from it.
-
As they arrived at the man's house, he knocked six times in a specific pattern, a musical pattern–quarter note, two eighth notes, quarter note, another two eighth notes–and the door was opened by a lightly dressed woman, in her early thirties, holding a small baby in her arms. The woman appeared Caucasian, and she smiled warmly with blue eyes at the armored knightess as she motioned for them to come inside. The man did so, and Anri (hopefully) followed, dragging Violet (hopefully) ((Just didn't want to waste time, soz about character jacking :p)). The woman shut and locked the door behind them, and the man threw off his coat and ski mask. He was also Caucasian, and appeared around 6'2". He had a square jaw, and seemed to have not shaved for a while. He had deep, blue eyes, and short, cut blond hair, and appeared to be in his early fourties. He rolled his broad shoulders as he threw off the coat. He wore a tight, navy blue t-shirt, and had tan skin, strange for somebody living in the Ku Rudo Mountains, and muscular arms. He smiled at the woman, before turning to Anri. "This is my wife, Elaine Fureels," He said, gesturing towards the woman. "And I am Jackson Fureels. You're lucky that I'm the doctor of the Kaln'oir Village," He added, frowning at the knightess, as he examined Violet closer. "Elaine, darling, get the Warmer," Jackson said to his wife, who nodded. "And be sure not to disturb Jonathon," He added as Elaine walked towards the kitchen. She came back out with a large, 6 inch long syringe. She knelt down besides Violet, and injected her with the syringe in her neck. Her rosy cheeks, nose, and ears soon faded back to her usual pale complexion, and the frostbite was already fading away. "She'll be out for a day," Elaine said to Jackson, who nodded. Jackson turned to Anri, a question in his blue eyes. "You've got some explaining to do," He says, sighing.
-
It's fine, lol. And yes, Anri entered. And yeah, she was holding Vio the entire time XD. Anri crossed her arms, sighing in utter relief as Violet was cured of her frostbite, looking down at her before beginning to speak to Jackson in a hushed, quiet tone. She was going to try to repay him and his family sometime in the future somehow, that was for sure. Although she was slightly confused about the secrecy of the family, she didn't mind too much. "Well...where do I begin? I'm Anri, a knightess from a distant land, and this is Violet. She's a good friend, a good woman, truly. There was a group of bandits coming from the south, and she fended them off. Of course, she had begun suffering from frostbite and such before I came along. She wanted to come to this village for some reason..."
-
Jackson's eyes narrowed slightly, however he didn't question it as he nodded. A ringing was heard from the kitchen, and Elaine was about to walk over to the kitchen before Jackson stopped her. "Well, Anri, would you like to meet Jonathon?" He asked, smiling warmly.
-
She silently nodded towards Jackson, her arms still crossed as if she was rather concerned. If she was going to have to wait a day for Violet to wake up, she may as well meet every person in the home that was taking care of both her and Anri. "Of course. Would you lead me to him?"
-
"Sure, sure," Jackson said, motioning for Anri to follow. He and Elaine walked over to the kitchen. In the kitchen was a man, around thirty-eight, with dark, gray hair, and olive skin. He was in a wheelchair, and he looked up from the book he was reading when the three entered the kitchen. His face was strikingly familiar; a single, bright green eye, and the other eye a bright red, mechanical, spherical camera eye rather than a biological one. Around the eye, skin had been burnt off, and it revealed a metal skull underneath. He had a thin face, and two prosthetic arms, which were hidden by his green, wool sweater. He wore long jeans, however they did nothing to hide the fact that he had no legs. He smiled at their entrance, however he did not speak. His face really was strikingly familiar. "This is Jonathon," Jackson said, gesturing towards the man in the wheelchair. "We found him crawling here with his two prosthetic arms, and he had no legs. He's also mute," Jackson added. "Looks as though somebody tore his tongue out. He never opens his mouth, I can't tell."
-
Anri simply nodded towards him, slightly waving at Jonathan. Of course, she knew who Jonathan was. It was Edward, the person who had replaced Yuria's arm and proposed to Isabelle, and eventually got married to her. They even had a kid, a 13 year old, from what Isabelle had said. Anri suddenly thought of what would happen if she told Iz...it would be quite bad. She would remain silent, until Edward was fine with telling Iz about his...condition. "Well, he seems like a good fellow. I hope we can become good friends."
-
Edward—Jonathon—smiled, and something in his singular, bright green eye said that she recognized Anri, however he didn't say anything about it; probably because his tongue had been cut off. "Anyway," Jackson clapped, smiling. "Let's get this young lady some new clothes, and into a nice, cozy bed," The man gestured towards the bloody bandit clothing Violet had changed into. "Elaine? Do you mind providing aid to Ms. Anri?" Elaine nodded, smiling at Anri.
-
"I...I'm fine, thanks. But I would appreciate a room though..." Anri sounded slightly nervous, mostly because if the family found out what she was, they would certainly panic, and maybe even kill her. She had one last resort, but it only lasted for three days at max, and it was completely an illusion.
-
"Follow me," Elaine said, heading towards a door on the left side of the log cabin. She motioned for Anri to follow, as she attempted to lift Violet up. However, all her prosthetics and chainsaw were too heavy for Elaine.
-
"Here...I could probably lift her up." Seeing that Elaine was struggling with getting Violet up, Anri simply offered to, mostly because she had been capable of doing it before. Although it took up a lot of strength, she was somewhat capable of picking her up. And thus, to prepare picking Violet up and carrying her somewhere else, Anri simply sighed and stretched slightly.
-
"Yeah... thanks...." Elaine murmured, halting her attempts to lift Violet up. Violet wasn't overweight, on the contrary she was quite thin due to her disease. However if she stood on a weight scale, her prosthetics would near double her weight.
-
"It's fine..." Heaving up Violet, Anri lifted her up slowly, attempting to not drop her currently asleep friend. In her time with Yuria, she had gotten used to picking up heavy things: bodies, weapons, armor...the sort.
-
Elaine leads Violet to the room, and opens the door. Inside is quite cozy, with a white carpet and a small, lit candle on top of the bedside cabinet. The bed itself was twin size, and was located in the top left of the room, the door being bottom right. The room was rectangular, and the walls were wooden logs. To the left of the bed was a window, large enough to watch the blizzard taking place outside. "Lay her down in the bathroom," Elaine said, gesturing towards another door on the right side of the room. "Her bloody clothes'll get the carpet and bed all messy. I'll fetch some new ones," She added as she walked over to the bedside cabinet, opening it. It was full of her own clothes, which would fit Violet snugly. She pulled out a simple, white t-shirt, a pair of faded blue skinny jeans, and white panties. Walking over to the bathroom Elaine opened its door, laying the clothes down besides the clean sink. The floor was made of ceramic tiles, and there was a shower combined with a bathtub at the back of the small bathroom, a toilet besides it. There was just enough room inside the bathtub to lay Violet down.
-
"Okay...thank you." Anri quietly entered the bathroom, surveying her surroundings carefully as she walked in, still carrying Violet. The knightess trudged over to the bathtub, setting Violet down rather carefully into the tub, allowing her head to rest on...the wall to the tub? IDK. And honestly, you probably shouldn't do something like that, but Anri wasn't a medical person at all. After setting Violet down, Anri sighed with relief as she stood next to her friend, silently watching her sleep.
-
"You'd best change her out of her clothes," Elaine murmured. Violet's stolen bandit clothes were drenched in snow and blood, and it was really quite dirty. The clothes besides the sink were perfectly clean, and wearing those, Violet would be able to lie down on the bed inside the bedroom.
-
"Yes, yes...sorry." Beginning to undress Violet, Anri really didn't know what to expect. She knew that she had some augmentations and prosthetics, but other than that...she didn't know much, although she had seen Vio nude before, specifically 13 years ago...I think. After undressing Violet and taking her bloodstained clothing, Anri simply sat them down in the tub, then washing off her gloves, as they had gotten some blood on them. Anri was careful about this, though she worried some of the blood would get on Violet's new clothing. After drying off, she took the clothes that were beside the sink, AKA the clean ones, and began to dress the sleeping Violet quickly and quietly.
