How do you feel about the series as a whole? How do you feel about individual titles within the series?

I've played Fallout 3 through 4. I'm a big fan.

I like the series as a whole. A little too "M-rated" for me though.. Too much gore & sexual talk. But the fact that something woth both of those things has hooked me is saying something, as one or the other--especially both--usually turns me away. And, while I do like the series as a whole, the RPG mechanics in 4 were too dumbed down, and I despise the most recent installment with a passion.

Edited by Guiro97: 9/19/2016 12:28:19 AM1. Good 2. Great 3. Good NV. Great 4. Average Shelter. Good for what it is (it's free who cares) Didn't play Tactics or BoS. Edit: other than that, the lore is some of the best in gaming and media in general. The best part of the series for me is always the unmarked areas/quests/info etc. It makes the games just feel that more vibrant and real.

I tried to play 4 but I found it bland and boring.

Edited by ObamaBinLaden: 9/18/2016 10:52:59 PMseries as a whole is great, but fallout 4/10 is probably my least favorite game of all time. what a disappointment.

Played a bit of 3. A decnent amount of 4. It just seems boring to me honestly. Then again I'm not much for singleplayer games. The only one I love to play is Assassin's Creed.

I've played 3 and 4. I'm not fan.

They are pretty much Elder Scrolls games but with better combat, excluding the first two of course. I don't much care for the post apocalyptic world though, it's not as pretty as the fantasy world of ES.

How did his get disliked? Anyway, its not a bad series. Came a long way. The Vaults are an interesting concept.

Slow Clunky Ugly

Slow, clunky, glitch ridden

I prefer Wasteland

Series is great as a whole. With a large amount of lore behind it for those who enjoy that kinda thing, like myself. Same goes to Elder Scrolls.

Only played 3, NV, and 4. Series is alright.

I loved Fallout 3, and New Vegas was my all time favorite. Never had a chance to play the original Fallout games before Bethesda. Fallout 4 was alright, but I think what kept me going back was actually living in the same state, and actually seeing some of the things that were in the game. Truthfully, I just want Obsidian to be handed the Fallout 4 engine, so we could see what they'd put out. Not necessarily a New Vegas 2, just any new Obsidian Fallout game.

Preferred it when Black Isle / obsidian handled it Why I enjoyed WL2 more than FO4
-
None of them will ever be as good as fallout NV to me. That's just a perfect game in my opinion.
-
It gets pretty boring after 700 hours in.
-
Overrated

I'm a whore for fallout.

I enjoyed 1-2 but not as much as Tactics which in my opinion would be the second best Fallout game. Fallout 3 sucked for me because I was a PlayStation user, crashes left right and centre, terrible story, alright DLCs and boring gameplay. Fallout NV suffered from the boring gameplay as well but had a much better story, better DLCs (yes, even dead money was pretty good) and a more interesting world in general. NV is my favourite Fallout. FO4 sucked dick.

I hate the gameplay for 1&2, at least early game. The story was alright. 3... I hated the city, the awful maze of shitty buildings and mutants everywhere. The D.L.C was spectacular, Mothership Zeta is the shit. The story was meh, and as if by a blessing, SUPER SKIPPABLE. in multiple different ways. Liberty Prime was dope. Pretty nifty perks and skills worked well. I disliked the karma-companion relationship, even though I usually always had perfect karma. New Vegas was my favorite by far. The story was pretty good to me. I enjoyed ruling New Vegas. The perks were well thought out, and I dug the skill checks. Karma didn't mean much and I loved it. The reputation gig was what I really loved. The D.L.C's were all interrelated and fleshed out. Dead Money sucked but the others were perfect. Genocidal Toaster? Guy who was lit ablaze and thrown into a canyon, but still walks the earth, and a Mormon no less? Ulysses?? THAT RANGER ARMOR?????? I didn't mind the gameplay, i used to be all vats, but recently I've gotten the hang of A.D.S 4 was a pretty good game. It's essentially 3 to me, but reversed story wise (father-son, and son-father). The gameplay was the best. The pew pews were fantastic. The interactions were tremendously dumbed down which was meh. I cared a lot more before, but it's kind of faded now. The D.L.C's were....honestly pretty bad. I loved the mechanist, despite it being too short. Far Harbor was neat, but I wasn't really interested in much outside of the detective vault. Nuka world just didn't hold me for a few hours. When I heard there was no real endgame to it, I just kind of fizzled. The game is still better than three, but that's because they're like the same game. This one just has upgraded pew pews and graphics.

Have never played 1 and 2. I have the platinum trophy for 3, NV and 4. If these games got no bugs (Fallout 4 1.10 is pretty much flawless now) I would rate the 3 of them 10/10. Never played any dlc btw, I think about getting the season passes on eventual sale.

I've never played the 1st or 2nd, but I'm not into turn-based strategy, so I wouldn't enjoy them that much I reckon. I've played 3 and New Vegas, I hated the gunplay so much. I was kinda forced to use V.A.T.S, which I didn't want to use. I appreciate the RPG mechanics though. Fallout 4 was fun, good gunplay and all, but if they kept the RPG mechanics from 3 or New Vegas, it would've been so much better I reckon. I also didn't like the voiced protagonist idea too much. I did enjoy the crafting though. Before this becomes too much of a mess I am going to end it here.
