The Old Man, Dojo Courtyard A1.
Sakuret Ceiko walked along the courtyard, his cane tapping along as he walked. The elderly man fixed his glasses so he could see better.
One would normally just brush him off as some guy, until he opened his mouth.
"You all haven't seen the horrors I have! None of you experienced the greatest lost as I have! Youngsters don't know the true meaning of loss!"
Sakuret rambled, it seemed like he was senile at that but possibly he also had wisdom to offer. No one really knows, but go ahead.
The Old Man clutched his maple cane tightly, remembering his not too fond memories.
Open, just talk or fück with the old guy.
Trust me, I've lost an entire species, my mother, my home, my life, my mortality, my innocence. What do you have to beat that? *Mortar forms from the ground in front of him
-
"Everything." He said coldly, which could mean anything honestly.
-
I'm sorry then, sir. *He takes a step back and nods, leaning against a tree* Who are you though?

-
"Did you just call me The Old?" Sakuret said, taking off the fake skin and makeup to reveal a smoother face, but the beard and hair stayed the same. "God damn that is disrespectful."

And so the Old Man was to be greeted not by an old friend, but by one who bore the insignia of one on the left forearm of his, where the blue insignia of the Cobalt Phoenix rested over the black skeletal prosthetic. It was JT, a Lieutenant, the newest one at that. His brown duster flew in the breeze behind him as his hat barely managed to remain atop his head, and the sleeves of his long jacket were rolled up. "Save it old man, most of the newbies are cocky, no respect for the Old Guard."
-
"Bah...talking is really the only thing I have. Not like you'd understand." The Old man said with a scowl. He was dresses pretty casually, a button up shirt covered by a red trenchcoat and some black cargo pants. At least it was normal compared to some others.. The old man stroked his snow white beard as he thought and his eyes quickly eyed the insignia on JTs arm. "Say...did you happen to know......him?"
-
"Know? No. I was in a... Cult, you could consider it, dedicated to His worship." Phoenix's Unborn, only place in the Twilight to find a cult dedicated to fair fights from a Lieutenant of Old.
-
"He is the last person I'd expect to have a....cult you call it. But I did know the man, or machine as I used to think. It was strange how we met actually." Sakuret said to JT. "This was on Terra about maybe a few decades back or so where I live. I shot down a bird, which prompted him to apparently come towards me and start getting pissy. I got punched the face which hurt like hell. However I had my Rail gun at the time and I fired it off at him...which missed. So as a bargaining tool I gave him my rail gun and we exchanged names and that was that." He said, reminiscing on the past.
-
"Friendship blossoming from an arms deal gone wrong, how excellent." JT chuckled just a tad bit when he spoke, his Texan accent distorted by the laughter. Though he was definitely just trying to lighten the Old Man's mood. "Let me guess, bird was magical like the one that gave me this here arm?"
-
"No. It was a camera. But he had a magical bird? That is bizarre......" He said, his tone and mood not shifting a bit. "I haven't seen him in a long while...But I actually do have something. You know how I gave him a rail gun correct? I actually have another of the same model." The old man said, now scratching at his face. The skin started to peel off slowly to reveal more skin except this skin had no wrinkles at all. After a few minutes of peeling the skin off it revealed that this 'Old Man' was really someone else much younger using makeup. "You see, I'm not really that old and it wasn't a few decades. More like 7 years." Sakuret said, his voice now not as old and gravelly. "That hurt my throat talking like that...anyways I'm Sakuret Ceiko, someone who lost their entire life within one hour."
-
Marshal JT, the Cowboy and Lieutenant of this here Dojo." He said, as JT looked to Sakuret's strange way of entering a place like the Dojo. Perhaps he was getting youngsters to fight him so he can deliver an ass kicking, maybe it was a fetish, none of it was clear to JT. And frankly, he didn't want to know.
-
Yes, because he totally has a thing for being old. "A lieutenant here? Mind explainin' to me what all that's about? I've seen some weirdos running around with magic and it's kinda annoyin'"
-
"Don't even get me started, never met a Magician I liked. I'm responsible for keeping things fro going to hell, like a few others."
-
"Uh huh...So are you do you guys have a leader? If not I'm surprised it hasn't gone to shit already." Sakuret said, popping his joints for no reason.
