I'm going to be totally honest, the RoI pre orders were an absolute ****ing mess. The collection upgrade could be purchased by people who didn't meet the criteria (I myself took advantage of this to get it £2 cheaper than standalone), the upgrade could NOT be purchased by those who did, the standalone was removed from the store and, according to some, has not been put back (or at least it isn't showing up for them). On top of this, it is impossible to pre order the standalone for Xbox One in any online store besides the official Xbox Marketplace (the one on Xbox.com, not via console), and even that is bugged to hell for some reason. I'm fairly certain PS4 players are having similar issues, and if I didn't buy the upgrade when I did, I'm not confident in the slightest that I'd have been able to pre order the expansion at all. So...yeah, I'll say it again: the pre orders for this expansion were an absolute ****ing mess. Never before has it been so goddamn awkward to pre order something. As a direct result of this, many players will be unable to get the preorder bonuses despite having the money and being perfectly willing to buy it. [b]Here is what I believe needs to be done about this:[/b] Bungie should make ABSOLUTELY sure that Rise of Iron (standalone as well as collection) is available for pre-order/purchase in the marketplace of both consoles and the online stores of all major retailers who sell it. Until they finish making absolutely sure (and for two weeks afterwards), they must keep the preorder bonuses available in Eververse to allow people to purchase them who might otherwise have never had a chance. In addition, all players who get RoI during this period should be given enough silver to allow them to purchase these items.
