To use the ability it takes double the amount of "ammo" than the other exotic sword.
It feels a bit underwhelming for some reason. How should i best use this weapon?
I'd almost rather them get rid of the ability and just make it legendary.
It says it weakens enemies but by how much and for how long?
-
It's great since it temporarily boosts all damage to the enemy you are slamming
-
Don't use it. Raze lighter does more damage for half the ammo.

10 is same as others, and it works great for me
-
I don't think an exotic that everyone gets for doing the bare minimum was going to be impressive to begin with.
-
yeah this kinda sucks. perhaps it's a double f**k you to us like hey here's a campaign you can finish in 30 minutes and here's a sword which will be relevant and usable for 30 more
-
It should work like the other exotic swords. 5 ammo for a special and 81 ammo if max like the others. Keep the perk the way it is to compensate. I have the feeling its supposed to be a support sword, it would make sense the ability does less damage. The other three are more aggressive so they do much more damage.
also as a side note, why are most of the exotic heavies solar? Why are mist exotics solar and arc? We have like, 3 void exotics total!
Thank you for saying this lol. I was thinking the same thing when i did dust palace on siva playlist. Hit ground twice directly on flayer and only his shield went down. What a disappointment.
-
I was just mentioning this yesterday with my brother. Raze-Lighter does more damage with less ammo. I do get why the Young Wolf sword uses 10 being that on top of the hit, it leaves sort of a AOE, even though it's a small cone. But for the type of weapon it is, they should significantly increase its damage to make it more worth while than the Raze-Lighter
-
Don't know if people have noticed, but hit a tough Major with it. Non-massive survivors of the slam attack get sent FLYING! You can bounce-lock majors with it, practically sending them back into the Ketches they leapt down from. Not that I think that is a reason to justify not buffing it, the energy Cost is a bit too high. Hopefully Memory of Radagast sword ammo bonus is a sizeable one.
-
Not on topic, but what anime is that gif from?
-
It was easy to acquire
-
I was thinking of keeping one on each character since I get one for each. If raze lighters are better, I may buy two more raze lighters and just keep those instead.
-
Yep, 10 is way to much. They should change it to 5 like the other exotic swords. Plus people are saying the raze lighter is more powerful and if that's the case then mabey make the special attack cost 3 or 4 energy but 10 is definitely way to much.
-
The old exotic swords were a paaaain to get, so it seems fair that this "handout" is not quite on par. Still looks badass though. Swords ftw.
-
It melts yellow bars try archons forge
-
I feel the same way, I understand it's less work then the other swords so it probably shouldn't be as good as them, but the slam takes WAY to much ammo. I will say though it's the best looking sword in the game. But that's just my two cents.
-
Hit enemies with it.
-
Jesus, seems like a lot of weapons in this DLC are a little underwhelming. First Khovostov, now the sword.
-
I think it's fine because they hand it out when you beat the story. It shouldn't be on par with the others, because the grind for those was real.
-
It's just a bad raze-lighter
-
It's actually really good. The damage is a decent burst, and the dot increase the regular attacks by almost 4k damage per swing.
-
I would of preferred to gather parts and materials and then have a cut scene forging the sword as a result of the iron banner and becoming a iron lord
-
I think it's good just uses too much ammo
-
Yeah, it wastes ammo at tge cost of crap damage. If i did insane damage but used allot of ammo i wouldnt mind.
-
Sword seems fine, just don't take 10 heavy.
