It was but a short time ago we were infected with Mites. Now we fight a different Nano technology the threat that is SIVA. now what if the events were connected? That somehow the mites that gave us XP boosts led to the SIVA outbreak.

The only Fallen we have engaged have been wolves; however, we ended their pilgrimage centered around a Prime servitor out of its time. The other equipment in the room otherwise untouched, and in fact in pristine condition.
However there is a group that has stayed out of view. References to them fairly obscure.
"Closed mission, House Kings listening post, Olympus Mons." -Xander 99-40 Bounty Tracker. Quote
This line of dialogue would seemingly suggest the kings have a presence on mars. Albeit one that has not been explored outside of subtle references.
Another interesting point is the Kings tread lightly, they act with purpose, and are anything but ravenous.
"I spent a long time in the wilderness outside the Walls. I've mentioned it before. Red-marked House of Devils Fallen always tracking my movements. The entire time I was out there, I think I saw one member of the House of Kings. Just sitting on a wall, scanning the horizon. Never even gave me a second glance." - Ghost

This talk of the Kings would seemingly have no relation to the Devil Splicers or the House of Devils since they are separate groups; however, Prince Uldren of the Awoken states otherwise.
“Prince Uldren: Look at it from the House of Kings' perspective. Their power is matched only by their cleverness. They rule the Devils from the shadows and came too close to toppling the City not once, but twice. We don't know much about them, but we know this: the Kings want the Traveler.”

If the Kings hold such sway over the Devils they could have set the Devils down the path of searching out nano-technology. The similarities hold true, but the motivation behind such actions would be curious. These Devil splicers are a young breed, arrogant and hungry for power. Perhaps the Kings manipulated this youthful arrogance to experiment with the technology without the repercussions they could bring upon their own house. The reasoning and personal interpretation are up for debate, but the connections are relevant for discussion.

So basically, the Kings actually know what they're doing, what they're fighting, and what to do when the time to actually go to war comes. Shows that there probably the most dangerous house, maybe even more than the SIVA-died splicers.
