To all those complaining about Archon's Forge.
You realize this DLC just came out right?
You realize Bungie's small team that worked on ROI put a lot of work into more than just the Archon's Forge right?
You realize there's plenty of other ways to level up and get good gear than trying to farm the Archon's Forge right?
Have you considered that [i]maybe[/i] Bungie set limitations on the Offerings and Keys to push you into activities other than just grinding out a single one?
This DLC has plenty to offer, I understand you're trying to get to the highest light level to start the raid and complete objectives in your progress book. But this is the first week of the DLC. There's plenty of time to complete everything before our usual April Update.
Those of you that complain about limitations and restrictions when the DLC is released are the same people that complain about the lack of content later down the line, because you rushed through everything in the first place.
Keep in mind this is a fun game with plenty of offerings and challenges. If you want to make yourself miserable and complain about everything there isn't, then maybe this isn't the game for you.
For once just appreciate what they've made for us and relax a little. It's fun as long as you make it fun.
[b]Edit[/b]: I'm not saying it's wrong to ask for improvements. But when 1000 people post the same topic, it's not just criticism.
There are plenty of topics to speak of that make perfect examples of criticism regarding this.
The above post isn't talking about that. I'm talking about the others that find nothing better to do than complain about the content.
There's a right way and a wrong way to go about things.

I just think bungie needs to be more considerate about the casuals i like the game its really the only game i play but i was looking forward to black armory and the forge and now ive just given up sense theres only so much leveling a causal can do and nobody wants to help with teaching raid half the time im on

Hard to do that when I attempt to walk slowly up the stairs time and time again only to find it empty...empty...empty. Go to orbit, rinse and repeat. Don't give us bounties we cannot complete due to the fact that the place is always a ghost town.

The more topics posted on it, pushes it higher up their list of priorities We were told Story, Archons Forge, Raid and lots of cosmetic options. The story is always short and sweet. The raid is great but we cant resort to a strike play list. Thats silly. Archons forge is mechanically a failure. Court of Oryx is how it should work. Instead, its inconvenient, not rewarding and sometimes we can't even play for fun because of how rare the stupid offerings are. So even if I said Idc about the stacking of offerings or the rewards, i cant do it consistly because of how rare the items are. I want archons forge better because it is fun.

Hmmmm, I don't know, once you've done the story the first thing you kinda wana check out is Archon Forge. Of all the people playing in the world and i just so happen to always walk in when it's empty. Even the walking in slowly shit don't work for me. I would assumed a lesson would have been learnt from CoO

The activity should be the challenge and right now the challenge is getting into the activity. I don't even mind the fact that you can hold only one offering at a time, it just seems like you need a fireteam to complete an activity that doesn't require a fireteam

10 RepliesYou do realize that bungie said it was the quickest way to rank up, right? When you get nothing but motes for your own offering and you can only hold one offering. It isnt worth doing right now and its why I call it the Archon's Forgery. Its a waste of time better spent running strikes for blues that drop over 340.

8 RepliesWhat exactly would Bungie be pushing players to do in ROI once the campaign is complete? There were 5 PvE quests (2 crucible once someone gets the Thorn quest). There were 5 story missions and 5 side missions Only 1 completely new strike, and 2 reskinned ones. Both rarely show up in the strike playlists as they're weighted the same as the older strikes. The reason people complain, is because they want an improvement. They WANT Archon Forge to be a better experience.... not pushed into another activity because this one was terribly implemented
