As a society, we've come to a disagreement about wages. Many of you feel as though that raising the minimum wage will only hurt businesses. This will encourage businesses to automate entry-level or higher work, and steal jobs from hard working people. People of this opinion also feel that we should lower taxes, and have a flat tax rate.
Well I have an ingenuous solution that will please you guys. Instead of raising the minimum wage, we should get rid of wages entirely. You may say, but Door, how could we pay our taxes if we got rid of wages? To this I say, we have a flat tax rate of 0%. Since nobody would have money to begin with, there's no reason we should tax them. This solves both the issues you guys have with raising the minimum wage and raising taxes.
Further, if no one is getting paid, nor is paying taxes, then we can simply give those who do work, food and expenses corresponding with how much they work. This will solve your vendetta with the "lack of personal responsibility in millennial's." Also, since these people will be working to live, they'll never want to invent robots which would take their job, assuring the utmost job security.
As far as I can see, this is the most logical way we can solve the issues you feel are hurting our economy.

That would make life dull though, we would only own necessities.
