Who here genuinely runs a Machine Gun in PvE?
Sure, [armory]Thunderlord[/armory] might be a go-to on the occasional Arc Burn but why would you ever touch a weapon like [armory]Nemesis Star[/armory] or [armory]Super Good Advice[/armory] when you could always run [armory]Gjallahorn[/armory] or [armory]Sleeper Simulant[/armory]?
Maybe for fun or a new experience in PvE, but they could never offer up the same benefits as running the latter. At one point you could argue their massive ammo capacity is what made them slightly usable, but they nerfed that a while ago.
I understand why they were nerfed in PvP, as a well-off Jolder's or BTRD at the time could control any 3v3 objective based gamemode, but doing this caused Machine Guns to become almost completely irrelevant in the PvE Meta.
I'm not asking that we bring back their great ammo capacity, of course I'd love that but some of you might be against that. Maybe we could just roll out a buff towards damage against minions of darkness?
If you guys agree, a bump and an upvote for traction would be appreciated.
If any of you disagree, please reasonably and respectably explain why below.
