Hundreds of clones line up into gunships, one of which held an AT-TE. They were going to the tallest skyscraper in Devoskii known as Takadhi Tower, where the clones had set up an old outpost at an old penthouse on the higher floors.
"Commander, our troops are ready to deal with any threat that comes our way. So, how long until you come back here?" One of the clones, an ARC trooper, asked.
"I'll come back once we confirm whether our sensors picked up anything." She responded, jumping into her gunship.
The clone saluted her, as 12 gunships, two of which contained vehicles, set off for the Byoki desert.
Open. Gunships are here if you want to visit the place. They didn't find the Black Market, and there are still hundreds of clones in the Dojo.
"Sir, gunships are free of charge." The clone replies, as a gunship lands in front of him, empty, with the exception of a pilot. "Take whoever or whatvever you need, and when you're ready we could take off. As for the belief that they'll be shot down...we have ARC fighters in full support of the operation." The clone explained.
-
Alright then... *He enters one of the gunships*
-
"That it?" The pilot asked, making sure that he had everything he needed.
-
That's it
-
"Alright. Lifting off." The pilot replied, as the doors to the ship closed, as it joined up with the other gunships. "Hey...Mortar, right? Anyways, there's some temporary beds over there, so if you feel tired once you get there, we'll give you one." The pilot replied.
-
Alright, thanks. Though I have a portal machine where only I can use.
-
"Ah..got it." The pilot replied, "Look outside...should be seein the desert around now. Look left, and you should see the city of Dovaskii...our destination."
-
That was fast. Ready when you are sir
-
"Got it. Landing at the area now, sir." * The gunship landed, as hundreds of troops piled out of the gunships, moving into the main room, as a bunch of clones moved to Mortar's position.* "Welcome to Devoskii, Mortar! Where do you need to go, sir?" He asked.
-
I'll be going where the clones go, thank you sir. *He gets off the ship, looking around at the scenery*
-
* You see a deserted city, the sun beaming rays to the surface of the city. You also see ARC fighters in the air, and the distant sound of AT-TEs roaming around the lower parts of the city. Clones left and right were marching, some of them having a drink, talking, or going back into the building for some rest.*
-
Wow. Either I'm having a crazy acid trip or there are a LOT of clones around here. Eh, shouldn't complain. Least I stand out
-
*You see a bunch of children run up to you and tackle you to the ground, as a familiar face appears.* "Heh, teleportation abilities, yet being beaten by children...you're something, Mortar." Velinnea said with a big smile on her face.
-
Nooo! Children! My one weakness! *He makes a "Bleh" noise and rests his head on the ground, tongue out. After a moment he gets up, quietly laughing* How've you been?
-
"Eh...raised up to Commander after the Vileblood killed our old leader, just deployed here so I could...personally deal with her myself. You change much, Mortar?" Velinnea said, chuckling a small bit.
-
Not really, I try to help where I can, and when I have nothing to do I just hang out with my girlfriend or hang around the Dojo
-
"Ah. Hanged around the Dojo, till the sensors picked up traces of what it thought was the Vileblood here. Came in, set up this massive base, and now we plan to retake the city..." she casually replied. "So...I know there's a squad of Dojo guards here. A little surprised no-one else is here, though." She said.
-
Well we actually have the Dight living round here somewhere, which is why this is a big tourist destination.
-
"Dight?" She asked, clearly unaware of what this was.
-
Oh, sorry, you're newer, and probably don't know who Royal is. Royal is a friend of mine, who was the leader of a legion called the Dight Legion. They disbanded long ago but recently came back to combat the twilight.
-
"The Twilight...reminds me of Ahsoka..." Velinnea thought, before getting out of her trance. "So...the Twilight something bad?"
-
Hell yeah it was bad. How could Ahsoka remind you of an orange haze that threatens to consume an entire world? Sounds strange to me.

Edited by A Stormy Dio: 9/30/2016 9:21:50 AM"The ship she used to drive. It was called the Twilight. Speaking of which, the hell is the Twilight? Orange haze? What are you guys fighting, orange juice?" She asked, sarcastically.
-
No, a man who usurped king Falk and brought this "wall of death" to this planet as well as it's army of Twilight beasts.
