Does anyone know if I ran through unloacked all m9nitors and stopped at 2nd phase boss. Of I come back and beat with my checkpoint the 5th monitor would be unlocked?

All the monitors reset if you go back to orbit

Can some stay and keep raid open while others leave and come back?

Yea that does work. My buddy joined a raid at the end and still got it.

If you go to orbit at any point before beating the final boss the fifth chest will not be available to open.
