I would do the raid, but I can't because I can't get gear. Playing for a couple hours a day since Friday doing strikes and such and am only light 350. Help?

Bring 3 Hunters with Nightstalker tether and maybe Gunslinger Celestial Nighthawk. Bring Razelighter or at least Gjallarhorn or Sleeper Simulant. Kill her before she gets away to the final room and then let the adds kill your team. Bring plenty of materials to upgrade your exotic Heavy weapon and equip whatever blues drop to increase your light level. You can easily get above 360 in an hour or so if you have a competent team.

Farm Heroics one after another and keep popping Three of coins and open the chests if you can. I've been farming Heroics since launch and so far Im 370 and have still yet to do the Raid.

Edited by Jmesser80: 9/28/2016 9:03:58 PMSame here. Stuck at 358 everything I get is same light or 1 lower. Turned in the 30 legendarys I saved up before roi and only 2 of them came in higher. I have done Omni farm heroics arcon forge and can't seem to get anything that helps me. I just got to grind it out just would be nice if I would get at least 1 piece every time I finish a strike. A buddy of mine has maybe 4 hours more play time and he is up to 374. RNG hates me for sure. Played in the forge for 2 hours last night and got 4 cloaks............ all at 359 which is what I already had.

You at 358 are fine to start raid. I went in first time at 354 came out at last boss at 364

Yeah man. I got 40 exotic engrams saved up too but I'm waiting on those until I get higher light so I don't screw myself

If they're saved from the taken king I don't think the decrypt higher light than 335. I decrypted mine at 347 light and they all turned into year two 335 weapons and armor

I did the raid at 355 and I died about as much as the people who were 370.

Me too. All my legendary engrams are decoding to 350 or 351 for everything that I already have over that. It's really irritating. Even got an exotic from a legendary and it was still 351. I want to raid so bad on this one.

U need blues dropped from heroics. Not engrams them selves but physical blues already decrypted that drop just like engrams. Usually get two to three per strike. I just made it to 365

Yeah I know. But I'm just saying that it's a pain in the ass. Shiny new toy that you can't use when you are trying to at least get to raid level. Ttk had about 5 different ways to level up at a good pace. RoI has one. Strikes. It feels like vanilla again which is like, but man I just want to jump in already! Only get about 6 hours a week to play isn't helping though haha.
