We activated the four monitors up to the final boss. Technically, we made it to the second phase of the final boss but didn't finish it. Since we have the checkpoint, do the monitors reset and have to reactivate them, or will they already be activated as long as the leader has the checkpoint and has already activated the monitors prior to the weekly reset?

If you all went to orbit, you have to start fresh. Same shit happened to me yesterday

That stinks. Bungie must think we have all the time in the world to commit to Destiny. As much as I'd like to at least obtain the quest to get that exotic pulse, I may wait a bit and focus on just completing the raid several times in normal mode and hard mode when it drops. The reviews on this exotic pulse have been grim but will be nice for exotic weapon collection.

Yeah. I don't think it was a secret meant to be grabbed on a guardians first raid completion..... or second. I think they assumed teams getting the monitors would be pretty experienced and blasting through with no problem completing it in one swoop. It can already be done in less than an hour once everyone is geared and knowledgeable.

I agree, I'm gonna level up a bit more and give it a go next Saturday. I'm not worried about completing the raid in one sitting, it's when I do, may be hard to finish the quest. But with ghorn back I can't see ppl running with this gun in their exotic all the time
