Deja Vu
Anor Londo, Virtual Reality within the Arena
Olivia, Daughter of Ornstein and Nora
"...Ah. Here we go." Finally entering the Dojo arena after tampering with its settings for several hours, the 6'6 foot tall dragonslaying knightess was finally satisfied with what she had been given.
Instead of the barren dirt of the arena that one would usually stand upon, the Dragonslayer walked on shining floors made of pure gold, massive pillars rising from the ground and up towards the second level of the beautiful cathedral she was inside of. Rays of sunlight shined through thin glass windows that surrounded the building, and in front of her lied three massive pedestals. The first one, to her left, contained nothing standing upon it, as if whatever statue had been built there had been removed, for some odd reason. The first one to her right showed a rather beautiful princess, the statue of her charmingly smiling as sunlight from above covered her, the dress that engulfed her body a clear stone. And finally, between the empty pedestal and the princess? "Lord Gwyn. Damn."
The statue of the first Lord of Cinder stared down upon the dragonslaying knightess, a rather serious look engulfing his weathered, stony face, his beard completely covering his chin and hiding away his mouth. He bore light, decorated robes, a spiked crown rising from his skull. A sword was in his hands, being driven into the hard stone between his sculpted feet. So this was the one that started it all...
Olivia didn't know how to feel, to be completely honest. This was the place that her father and his brother had defended for so long until someone, the Chosen Undead, to be exact, killed both and freed them from this. She didn't care too much about it, to tell the truth. That was the past.
Wearing her typical suit of shining golden armor with plating of ceramic covering its layers, the girl activated her hardlight shields as she turned back to the entrance of the cathedral, drawing her 7'6 foot long gold and metal spear and holding the weapon modeled after her father's own at her right side, while her left palm held nothing. Slung on the woman's back was a slug-firing shotgun, a drum magazine already within its frame, signifying that it was locked and loaded. Two dual wield gunmetal .44 Magnum revolvers waited within their holsters at her side, one having the name "Bonnie" imprinted into the barrel in cursive and the other having "Clyde" imprinted in the same manner. The gleaming blade of a 5'4 foot long straight sword also rested alongside the shotgun within its sheath, waiting to be withdrawn at any time. Also at Olivia's side was a simple, pointed stiletto dagger, it's tip pointed and shined for the occasion, as Olivia planned on getting better with it. And finally, her final weapon that she had along with her, a simple gauntlet blade attacked to her right hand, currently not activated although it could be revealed with a flick of the wrist.
And so Olivia waited for a challenger that wished to battle the daughter of Ornstein within Anor Londo, which seemed rather cliche, considering her father's time here, defending the cathedral from harm. And yet, like I said...crap like that didn't matter to Oliva.

Haknir walks up to Olivia, smiling slightly. "And so the first dragonborn meets last the last dragonborn, at the summit of apocrypha, no doubt as how hermaeus mora planned it.... or something along those lines. Nice to meet another dragon slayer..."
-
"Spoken by some guy named...Miraak, right? Ah, whatever. It's good to meet you too. Happy to see more of my type here, there's too many dragons." The knightess chuckled slightly, leaning back against a marble pillar. "Y'know...Wonder if I could get a virtual reality version of Apocrypha or whoever you say it...it would be worth a try."
-
"I can take you there directly... if you're willing to take the risk." Haknir draws a black book from his bag.
-
Walking into the arena was none other then Severin, son of Ornstein and Nora. Also Olivia's brother
-
"Hey bro." Olivia simply leaned back against one of the marble pillars, simply staring at Severin as he entered.
-
"Heyo Siso. Been a while. Hard to track you when you leave me nothing to follow."
-
"Yeah, I know. But hey...Dad did tell you I was heading to this lil' hellhole, right? He should have..."
-
"How else do you think I found you?" He sighs slightly
-
"...I dunno. So...you like it?" She motions towards the massive cathedral that the two are standing in. Although it's VR, it's still rather impressive.
-
"Almost like the real thing. Gotta give you credit."
-
"Thanks...Took a bit to figure out, but...I'm thinking about saving it on a hard drive or some crap. Assuming that a hard drive can hold an exact replica of Anor Londo."
-
"I don't think there's one big enormous actually."

A woman stumbled into the castle, her shoulder length, light brown hair tied back in a ponytail. Her thick, round glasses fell on the ground, however luckily, they didn't break. She leaned down, picking them up, and putting them back on her face. Looking back, she yelled out: "Thanks a lot!" It looked as though somebody had pushed her into the VR room, somehow and someway. The woman looked back towards Olivia, revealing a light olive skin complexion, freckles all over her young face, making her appear more fifteen than twenty-three. Gripped tightly in her right hand was a four foot long staff, with a two foot long titanium spike molded onto its end. Scrawled on the blade was a rune of strength, or allinto. It had been there for as long as Alyssa had owned the staff, granting strength to the wielder. In the right pocket of her faded blue skinny jeans, the butt of a black pen stuck out. Her loose, button-up white shirt was dust covered and dirty. "Um... hello...." She called out awkwardly, towards Olivia.
-
The dragonslaying knightess had leaned back against the metal and marble walls of the massive cathedral, the shadows of the statues being casted down upon both her and Alyssa. Since Olivia had never met the Mage before...she didn't know what to expect. She seemed nice, that was for sure. In response, she raised her left hand to wave while her spear was simply pointed at the marble floor. "Hey. Guess you're here for...combat, right?"
-
Alyssa blinked, thought for a moment. "Well... I am bored," She murmured to herself, then sighed. She did need some good combat training, for she knew that she was right near useless in a fight. Taking a deep a deep breath, she nodded. "Y-yeah. A fight." Slowly, she entered a battle stance, her left foot dragging outwards and behind her so her chest was facing the space to Olivia's right, as she hoisted her spearlike staff, holding the back with her left, light olive hands, the front with her right. She had no armor, and logic stated that Alyssa would almost definitely lose, magic or not. But it was worth a shot; she wasn't necessarily ready to die just yet, but she hoped to high hell that Olivia wouldn't try to kill her.
-
Olivia only nodded silently towards Alyssa, suddenly gripping her spear with both hands, pointing the metallic towards what she assumed to be her opponent. She had no intention of killing Alyssa at all, but she was still putting up a fight. Her voice escaped her golden lion helm, muffled yet still distinguishable. "Would you like to attack first? I'm...not a person that likes going first, to tell the honest truth." Olivia hated having to go first. Maybe it was because of chivalry (even if she was female, she still practiced the art through simply showing respect), or perhaps because she respected those that seeker to challenge her. She was clearly waiting, her grip tightening on the golden spear.

Edited by NOTAPUBLICALT: 10/3/2016 1:21:31 AMFor Alyssa, her first attack was crucial. To use mana, or to not use mana? Heck, she could start off with blowing the entire castle to high hell by flooding it with rocket fuel, however she knew that that would kill her. Instead, she started off with a simple yet strategic maneuver; pulling out the black pen, she scrawled a rune on each of her palms. On the left, the rune had a fluidic swirl in the middle, a mentagua rune. On the right, the rune had a flame in the middle, an incendio rune. She clapped her hands together, and a thick, steamy fog flooded the castle, rendering Alyssa invisible. ((MP = 750 - x)) ((MP = 750 - (50+50))) ((MP = 750 - 100)) ((MP = 650))
-
Simply staying in place, Olivia simply chuckled, her soft laughter resounding within the massive hall as she stood in place still. She was mostly looking around in each direction, waiting for Alyssa to come out of the mist and attack suddenly. After a moment, the knightess sighed and charged into the mist herself, seeming to find her opponent instead of staying out in the open. Her hands were still clenching her spear tightly, the tip flickering with electricity.

Edited by NOTAPUBLICALT: 10/3/2016 2:00:39 AM"Hut!" A brisk yell, from Alyssa, to Olivia's right. A massive, titanium wall formed in front of Olivia as she charged, a result of alchemic transmutation. She rammed into it, unable to see it due to the steam. Alyssa then changed positions, so her location was unknown. The fog began to lessen, however visibility was still a zero. ((MP= 650 - x)) ((MP= 650 -100)) ((MP= 550))
-
Edited by Orn: 10/3/2016 2:03:59 AM"Wha-" Slamming into the wall suddenly, Olivia simply groaned in utter pain as she held her head, shaking the pain off although it still hurt like hell. "Ow...Rude!" She began to slowly move through the fog now, actually watching for traps and such this time, instead of immediately sprinting into a wall.
-
Alyssa was a few yards behind Olivia, silently scrawling another rune on her left forearm. A passive rune, one that restored mana over time. It was extraordinarily complex, however Alyssa eventually got it to work, and it began to work its magic; however it also blocked the usage of her mana, and as such, she was unable to use magic while her mana was regenerating. She strained to hear Olivia's now fading footsteps, not daring to draw closer as she was unable to use alchemy.
-
Olivia kept wandering through the mist, still unable to locate Alyssa's position, atleast at the moment. Her hands still on her spear, she didn't even think of using something like Lightning Storm this early in the fight. Mostly because it took up most of her energy, and she didn't want to fry Alyssa on the spot in the case that Alyssa didn't dodge.
-
Alyssa didn't appear, using the time of peace to regenerate her mana. She sat down, staring through the mist. ((MP= 550 + 50)) ((MP= 600))
-
Some time later, Olivia simply stood in place, twirling her spear as she waited for the fog to dissipate. This may have been a stupid idea, as Alyssa was regaining energy, but Olivia didn't mind too much. After a bit, she sat down on the marble floor as well, yelling out to the fog and likely revealing her location. "...So how are you doing this fine day?!"
-
Alyssa chuckled inwardly, wondering if Olivia was dense or not. Taking note of her position, she stood, slowly approached where Olivia called out silently. She guessed that it was a trap, but who knew. The steam continued to dissipate, and would soon be gone, revealing their positions. ((MP= 600 + 50)) ((MP= 650))
