He was hit by a truck while standing on the soft shoulder of a busy highway trying to remove some large pieces of trash off of the road. He was trying to save lives and while doing so he lost his. He hung on for a little while, about a week. But he passed the day before Thanksgiving. I was able to say goodbye. He took his last few breaths while I held his hand. I understand what it feels like to loose someone. I understand the need to find comfort. I would love to get my hands on that rifle! Just to have a little something there to make me think about my Dad. Keep your head up. And keep playing
