Drop Rate On Skeleton Keys
We need a higher drop Rate on skeleton keys,

2 RepliesIt's October for Purple Ball's sakes. The name Skeleton Keys implies that they should have a higher drop rate this month, not that the RNG for them is so abysmal that its sp00py.

I ranked up my vanguard today solely on strikes- Twice now- still no skeleton keys. Strikes a/ rep booster is 200+, to rank up is 2,500, which means I ran about 20 strikes- no keys. Needs to be 1:10 guaranteed.

No, you just need to make daily sacrifices to master Rahool, disciple of RNGesus. I use my warlock, giving him all of the greatest fallen gear, then making him fall to his death, over, and over, and over. If that doesn't work, take him flawless, and dismantle all of your flawless gear, then your raid gear, then your favorite exotic. Then, master Rahool might just take you into consideration, and submit your name to the mighty RNGesus. #Worshipthecode

yeah kind of thing that should be RNG, but as follows normal 320 strikes complete RNG as is I have no problem with that, however in heroic's it should be a possible drop every time but if it doesn't drop then the next completion should guarantee a drop.

I feel Bungie intentionally left drops very low to start this expansion and I think they'll balance upward if they see that they are, in fact, too low. They did this with Archon's Forge and it feels a little better after the slight buff to offering drop rates. It would be a total disaster if they made the drops too good and everyone leveled too quickly. The economy is pretty delicate and you can always buff a little but make the drops too good and the damage is permanent.

They should do the same system that the raid keys have, every strike boss would drop 1 skeleton key fragment, so ud be guarenteed a key after 10 strikes Maybe even add more ways to get key fragments like bounties and fraction packages

1 ReplyThis happened to me twice so far, my consumables are not full and I picked up everything that dropped from strikes bosses, and when i got back to the tower I found keys in my postmaster. Anybody else?
