"Well, yeah. I just asked you what's wrong. I'm a psychiatrist I can tell something is up."

Edited by Cthulhu Agent: 10/4/2016 1:57:08 AMCharlie lightly grabbed onto Alyssa's forearm. When she looked at him his eyes were now blue and he had the exact same smile from the first time she walked through the door. "Stop. Everything is alright. Because of you I got to live and get out of room for once." Tears ran down his cheek. "I'll be okay, just go find help for yourself. You're hurt and need help. Be selfish and leave me."
-
"N-no...." Tears were forming in Alyssa's eyes, wondering how he could be smiling with such a wound. "If you want me to be selfish, then I'm staying right here," She said, grasping Charlie's arm as she continued frantically searching for whatever it was. "Just... just don't die.... If you die, I swear to God I'll kill you...."
-
She stumbles upon a strange.copper coin. One side was completely black from a burn mark and the other had some strange etchings on it. "Alyssa, that's swee..." His eyes rolled back and his breathing stopped.
-
Alyssa couldn't believe it. She held back hysteria, quickly grabbing the coin, and placing her in her right palm as she knelt besides Charlie's neck. Placing her right palm so the coin was pressed to Charlie's chest, her left hand on top of it, she began chest compressions, trying to get him to breath. Placing her lips on Charlie's, she continued to provide CPR, rather frantically and desperate.
-
Charlie's breathing starts back up, but it's extremely shallow.
-
Alyssa continued the CPR, careful not to get her hopes up, although it wasn't easy, her heart jumping as Charlie began to breath. She tried flipping the coin, to see if that did anything.
-
His breathing stopped and all of visible vains started turning black. His muscles spasming at random.
-
Alyssa jolted in surprise, flipping the coin back to the lighter side, continuing CPR.
-
The vains that were black stayed that way, but his breathing came back. Overtime his breathing became normal and he started to open his eyes.
-
Alyssa finally stopped the CPR, leaving her right palm pressing the coin to Charlie's chest. She let out a sob, pressing her forehead to Charlie's neck. "Charlie...." She murmured, panting for air.
-
Charlie's eyes opened wide and he pushed Alyssa away. "Who the hell are you?"
-
"I-y-you don't know...." Alyssa stared at Charlie, a sadness that she'd never in her life felt before easily seen on her face "Wh-who I... am...?" She was in shock, denial, disbelief. How could Charlie forget her? After what she'd just been through, how would Charlie dare forget her? Alyssa felt to the ground, tears rolling from her eyes. "I-I'm Alyssa... I... y-y'know... I...." She fell into silence, staring at the ground.
-
Charlie knelt down to her and put his hand on her shoulder. "I'm sorry, but I think you have me..." He looks around at the surrounding area and then down at his black vains. "How did I get out of the room?" He looks back at Alyssa. "Oh, no." He hugs her. "I'm so sorry! Alyssa, I'm so sorry that my memory has been wiped of you! You poor, girl."
-
Charlie talking to her like she was thirteen was too much for her; she let out a sob, then stood up. "I-I... see you around, Charlie...." With that, she turned and sprinted away, not turning back. ((End, unless Charlie decides to follow.))
-
Charlie sprints after her, easily keeping up. "Please, don't leave me! If you got me out of that room then I must've loved you and I don't give up on loved ones!"
-
Hearing those words come out of Charlie's mouth was like being stabbed by a knife. Her throat constricted, tears flooding her eyes. "I-I'm sorry, what?" She said, pretending as though she'd never met Charlie before. It was for the best, that they never saw each other again.
-
"Oh, don't act like you don't know me! I'm a psychiatrist, I see right through that bullsh*t. Now, stop running Miss Alyssa! F*ck memory loss, I still love you."
-
"B-b...." Alyssa didn't know what to do, backing away from Charlie. "Why? Y-you c-can't j-j-j-just say that... when you don't even know me...." She said the last part in a whisper, inaudible to Charlie, however he could easily read her lips.
-
"There's always more than what meets the eye." He gestures to the coin in her hand which has been unnoticably glowing since Charlie woke up. "I can see some of your recent memory and what I see is a wonderful, intelligent girl. There's no question if I love you or not...of course I do. Please, don't leave me." He begins to cry. "Just...don't leave."
-
Alyssa took a hesitant step forward. Then another one. Suddenly, she broke into a sprint, and threw herself at Charlie, pulling him into a tight embrace as she buried her face in his right shoulder.
-
He embraced her, tears running down his face. He whispers to her. "Don't leave." Charlie collapses into Alyssa's arms from exghaustion and grunts. "That revival took a lot out of me."
-
Alyssa didn't reply for a long while, simply keeping the embrace. Finally, she said two words: "I won't." ((End.))
-
That really hurt her, the feeling of a fist slamming into her gut overwhelming her, the expression clear on her face. While she didn't reply, Charlie could easily see that all he was doing was hurting Alyssa further.
