The Dojo, Courtyard A1.
Chloanne Defaln walked down the courtyard, strangely enough her overbearing brother Ling was nowhere to be seen. She didn't want to stand out today so she just wore a Metallica shirt and jeans. Chloanne entered the Starbucks like some fücking hipster and got a latte.
After getting her drink she took a seat outside, sipping her latte and praying to any deity that Pumpkin Spice isn't a thing anymore.

Not far from her was another man, reading a newspaper upside down. He looked strange too... Long blonde spiky hair, tanned skin, a long olive green fur coat with a massive hood, two yellow eyes with pupils that were like the slits of cat eyes, a black shirt, baggy jeans, and big fur boots. But the strangest feature was his lower metal jaw that was held by two clamps running up his cheeks and back down to his neck. Damien Lordan... But besides his out of place looks, he seemed uninteresting, until his gaze drifted to Chloanne, the bright yellow eyes outlining sharp facial features. He wasn't outstandingly attractive, but far from ugly... Just... Average... Kinda. He seemed to stare for a moment, before his eyes drifted to someone new... He seems out of place, and awkwardly placed. Perhaps waiting for someone... Perhaps not... And as time passed, he seemed to barely move, not even turning the newspaper over... Something was off.
-
Chloanne brushed her hair away from her face, she had decided to let her jet black hair just fall to her chest and back. She had noticed Damien and the rather odd outfit that accompanied him. He more or less stuck out like a sore thumb while Chloanne was well...casual to say the least. She sipped her latte as she somewhat stared, not quite thinking much.
-
Damien eventually got her gaze and stared back, before giving a stupid grin and sticking out his unnaturally long pink tongue that seemed to be... About a foot long, ending in a point rather than curve. He was weird... But he seemed to be teasing, or joking... He didn't mind the stare, but anyone willing to stare often changed their gaze once he got strange.
-
"What the fück...." She mumbled to herself, quickly sipping her latte and averting her gaze out of awkwardness. She thought this place was bizarre enough with the whole ninjas and mages and ninjamages.
-
Damien couldn't help but laugh, folding his newspaper up in a few moments until it was a large paper airplane. And with piss poor aim, he threw it up, only for it to circle back around and slam into the back of man's head, his coffee exploding all over his black suit as he swore and kicked. Damien merely raised an eyebrow and smirked, pleased with himself.

*Someone watched her in the distance, dagger in hand, and cloaked, getting ready for a chance to murder another person affiliated with the Dojo.*
-
Chloanne was simply drinking her latte, she didn't seem to enjoy it here at all. For the most part she seemed to be a ordinary person, nothing special at all.
-
*The assassin, most likely female, walked up to Chloanne, and raised the dagger above her head, hoping to most likely kill her., while mumbling to herself in Chinese.*
-
Chloanne stated something in Chinese back "Go away, I have no intention of speaking with you." She said, her right hand reaching for her right hip.
-
*She mumbled to herself again, before trying to stab Chloanne like before, only this time, trying to do it in the heart, yelling what could've meant, "Die, you hell spawn!" Or something like that in Chinese.*
-
Chloanne ripped out her Karambit knife from its sheath and stabbed it into her assailants thigh, most likely forcing her to drop the knife. "Did Lucas start that rumor again?!" She said in Chinese, jumping up from her seat and running a good few feet away.
-
*The Assailant said something that meant "The Immortals never die.", before taking out a silenced P226 and try's to shoot Chloanne, while using her free hand to stop any more blood from coming out of her injury.*
-
Chloanne got shot in the shoulder and knee and fell to the ground in pain. She reached around her waist for her pistol and brought it out. Her Rail Pistol was aimed, though she didn't aim properly she just fired once at her general direction. Chloanne had her face fall to the ground.
-
*The Rail Pistol tore through the the Assailant's right shoulder, as she yelled in pain, dropping her own weapon in the process.*
-
"F....fück." Chloanne muttered, trying to gather the strength to crawl away. The best she could do was slowly nudge her way across the ground. "Help..."
-
Soon after, from the same Starbucks even though Starbucks sucks ass, came a familiar and cheerful man, a paper cup of chocolate milk in his cybernetic hands. Yes, fücking chocolates milk. Lucky Luke, already having seen Chloanne when she got her coffee, slowly walked over to her table or whatever she was sitting at, and asked with a friendly tone to his masculine voice, "Hey, Chloanne, mind if I join you?"
-
It was indeed a table, and Chloanne gave somewhat of a smile. "Sure Lucas, you aren't uh...afraid of me still right?" She said, sipping her latte. "I hate this shit, but no where else has any caffeinated drinks that I know of. Anyways, what's up?"
-
Lucas returned the smile, sitting down across from Chloanne, gently placing the cup down as he shook his head, "No, I'm no longer afraid of you.. Though I did think you wanted to actually kill me at one point. But, now, I'd even like to get to know you." He slowly brought his drink up, taking a gentle sip before placing the cup down again, his hands still wrapped around the container. "Nothing much, really.. Just been having a few boring days.. How have you been?"
-
"I will say this, I was extremely mad at you but I never did want to kill you. Not now, not ever." She said honestly. Letting go of her latte she spoke once more. "Honestly...its been kind of bizarre. I met this therapist, he tried to hit on me and Ling came in and saved me. So better than the Bloodwrath I can say...other than that I have been rather bored."
-
"Ah, that's certainly good to hear.. And, you had your reasons to be mad at me; I did sorta jump on you from a fifteen feet tall mech.. At least you're okay now, though, right? And, how's Rodrick? Roderick? The giant lizard guy that looks like he lifts cars every day and is addicted to steroids?" He shrugged. Honestly; he didn't remember much of the guy. It had been about nine years for Lucas, after all. Plus, he didn't really care much about the man. "Now, there I agree with you.. And, some therapist hit on you? That guy has to be a fake, honestly.. Or he's just very unprofessional and needs to be fired. And worse."
-
"Roderick and I separated a few years back. We decided we should just stay friends to be honest. But yeah, nothing much has happened. Anything with you recently?" She said, drinking her latte noe as it was getting somewhat cold.
-
"Ah, that's a shame to hear.. Oh well, the decision belonged to you two; not me. Not my business.. Anyway, nothing much has happened recently.. I mean, I reunited with Jason, my brother, but that's all, really." Luke shrugged again, bringing his cup to his lips again, and taking a swig from his hot coco. Just as he enjoyed it.. That pleasant warmth just spreading form good esophagus through his chest. He loved it.
-
"Well that's better than mine y'know. Ling has been overprotective recently...but I can't blame him. I just don't know what to do...." She said, finishing off her latte and placing the cup on the table. "You know, there's always some stuff we can do.."
-
"He's overprotective because he cares a lot about you, and loves you dearly. Like a good, righteous brother should. It could be much worse, you know? The two of you could hate each other so much you want one another's life.." Luke said, his voice fading as he took another swig from his hot chocolate drink, a shudder moving down his spine. He held the cup at his face as he spoke again, curiously and inquisitively asking: "Hmm? What sort of things..?"
-
"Well I don't know, I thought you'd come up with an idea. It is rather...boring should I say here." She said, stretching her arms above her head. "So..what's it like being a cyborg?"
