Lab Ama: the God limiter experiment
Outside of a old building people have noticed Ama often times would enter for long hours at a time. The building looked ordinary enough though sometimes citizens would complain about what they describe as a "dull humming noise" coming from inside and the occasional smell of burning metal.
As of yet no one has decided to inspect what has been going on within the building. The only thing known is not too long after Ama came along she purchased the deed to this place. Sone say at night, there is a strong scent of tea in the air.

John was walking by when he smelled the tea. He loved tea so he decided to run up to the door and knock. "Hey, someone in there?"
-
Edited by ALIAS-F4LS: 10/3/2016 9:13:26 PMA monitor flickers up showing Ama on the screen with a laboratory behind her. On the inside the place seems much cleaner than the building would lead to believe and several devices could be seen off to the side. "Oh hey, can I help you?"
-
"Yeah, can I have some of that tea I smell brewing? I know it's weird to ask, but I could really use it right now."
-
"Odd but sure." A latch clicks as she opens the door. Despite the outside the inside is clean, well lit, and has a large amount of equipment inside. Some seeming extraordinarily complex. "Was a bit busy but nothing that really needs to get done immediately"
-
"I can help. I know a few sciency things from the academy." He follows her closely. "Also, thanks for letting me in."
-
"Oh no problem. Though I am a bit curious. What's the off chance you know about industrial cooling systems for keeping equipment from overheating?"
-
"That's something I actually remember! Haha! I have a use." John seemed rather proud of himself.
-
"Heh, who knew tea would be the reason I got this thing fixed." She clicks away at her keyboard. The screen displays a cooling system. "Anyways I managed to get everything working in the lab. The main issue seems to be this monstrosity ends up getting overworked if to many things are running. Next thing you know everyone gets to hear the song of its people. Pretty sure the guards weren't too happy with the complaints"
-
"That doesn't sound good. I bet I can fix it."

Edited by ALIAS-F4LS: 10/6/2016 5:31:57 PM"Well if you think you can I wouldn't mind the help. Just a bit of a warning though. It's running on liquid nitrogen. I wouldn't suggest getting any of that on you"
-
*Mortar, having enough of the civilians' complaints, decides to find out what's happening. He goes over and knocks at the door* Hello, you in there?
-
A monitor flickers on showing her looking at a screen. The room behind her seems clean with various lab equipment. "Oh hey, what brings you here?"
-
Hey Ama. Look, there have been some... Complaints... About some weird smells and a low humming sound from there, and i just came over to see what the source was. May I come in?
-
"Hmm must be another problem with the cooler. Sure one sec." A click from the door and Ama opens it. "Come on in." The inside is a stark contrast from the outside. It's clean, comfortable, and new. There are quite a bit of equipment that wasn't visible on the monitor including three arm bands with a similar pattern to her restriction gear. "Sorry, haven't found a solid coolant system for some of the machines"
-
If it's a problem with the Coolant I think I can help you there. This is a nice place you got here; Clean, well lit, this looks completely different from the outside of this place. *He looks around the room in awe, occasionally looking back at some particular thing he finds intriguing* You made all of this?
-
"Thanks. For the most part everything seems to be running smoothly though I do have to admit is was a bit of a challenge making sure this place didn't draw to much power." The lights flicker a bit then the coolant system begins to make a loud rumbling noise. "Unfortunately this thing damn doesn't seem to like the extra load all this equipment puts on it! Sure it keeps everything running for the most part but then you end up having to put up with this!" Yelling over the humming of the overworked machine which settles back down after a few seconds.
-
Well I can help you with that if you let me. If I can make a portal device I can help you with the Coolant.
-
"Hmm... well I wouldn't mind the help. What do you have in mind?"
-
Well I've been working on a certain metal that can melt at cool temperatures and stay at said temperatures
-
"Hmmm... well if it can maintain sub zero temperatures and run through piping I'm up for it." She goes to the screen of the computer to check on the schematics of her Cooling system. "Still, that leaves the question of where to dump a tanker of liquid nitrogen without causing a disaster. Thank God I didn't go cheap on the piping or we would have a sequel to Frozen..."
-
Yeah, it can maintain sub zero, though you may wanna line the insides of your pipes with Carbon Fiber. In order to keep it from being solid again and busting up the pipes it's gotta keep moving, and it sticks to other types of metals
-
"Ah alright. It might be a couple of days to get the materials so in the meantime I'm guessing your curious what's with the lab. Like tea?" Opening the door to her living room.
-
Now that you mention it I am somewhat interested as to what you're doing. And, sure, I'll take some tea. Reminds me of Maya's place. She was a nice woman; wonder where she went
-
She goes to pick a few leaves off a plant on a table next to a small brewery device. Crushes them up and places them in with some water. "Another sciencey type? Friend of yours?"
-
Nah, she studied shadow abilities. She was a shadow master second degree, I think that was it. And she had this awesome tea shop
